一杯清茶看春秋!:“Salzburg is the hometown of the great composer Mozart and a famous Baroque ancient architecture resort in Austria. There are many churches in the city, which is very suitable for walking. The beautiful Salzach River divides Salzburg into the new city and the old city. The steeple churches and monasteries with unique characteristics and long history, the tree-lined gardens and fountains of various shapes make Salzburg particularly beautiful. There are also fascinating residential houses full of medieval characteristics, Mozart's birthplace, Mozart Conservatory, Mozart Square and Mozart Memorial Bronze Statue, etc. The beautiful scenery of the Alps and the colorful architectural art are integrated, making Salzburg known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. This time we are going to visit Salzburg at night.”
Lawrenzo:“Go there for the beautiful garden outside with all the amazing sculptures. Need to know, a scene from the do-re-me song from the movie The sound of music was shot there. You also get an amazing view of Fortress Hohensalzburg. It says it's free to visit the palace but there's really only one staircase and a small room you can see and it's not marked out. I think it's mainly used for concerts. It's still worth a look especially the staircase with all the sculptures.”
Opening hours: 08:30-19:00 (admission ends at 18:30)
sculptor:“Salzburg, Austria is the birthplace of Mozart. The Mozart family lived on the third floor of 9 Gertred Street in Salzburg from 1747 to 1773, and Mozart himself was born here on January 27, 1756. Mozart's father was a musician of the Salzburg Royal Chamber Music, and the most famous Mozart was his father's seventh child.”
老少皆宜(程世荣):“Salzburg, the second largest city in Austria, is a veritable city of music. It is the hometown of Mozart. We visited Mozart's ancient residence and the Sculpture Square. The children here often hold various music-related activities.”

Znnwhisper:“I highly recommend this classic in the Austrian Lake District! The filming location of "The Sound of Music", snow-capped mountains, lakes, meadows and other natural landscapes are all in one place. The century-old train on Schafberg is a feature, and it can go to the top of the mountain in summer. But if you love hiking, it is more recommended to go on the hiking route, where you can enjoy the scenery of Austria that is not inferior to Switzerland! Of course, the only drawback is that the ticket price of the small 🚂 is a bit high”
一杯清茶看春秋!:“Lake Hallstatt is the most spiritual tourist destination among the 14 lakes in the Salzkammergut region of Austria. Hallstatt has a warm climate and is suitable for tourism all year round. This lakeside town, standing between steep slopes and emerald lakes, is full of fairy-tale-like quiet and beautiful houses.”
Opening hours: 08:30-19:00 (admission ends at 08:30)
Liebe P:“Mozart's birthplace, Mozart House, Mozart Cafe in Salzburg... Everything is Mozart. Haha. Just Mozart alone is enough to feed a city for a lifetime! Mozart's handwritten scores, clothes, etc. are on display in the birthplace and house, so you can meet Mozart from far and near.^^”
Liebe P:“At first, I took a lot of pictures of even the nameless cathedral because it was cool, but later on, I didn't feel as inspired as I did the first time, lol. I respect the fact that it's still preserved!”
梅理熊:“[Scenery] The lakes in Austria are all so beautiful. Green mountains and clear waters, no water entertainment, quiet and peaceful. Perfect for a relaxing vacation
[Fun] There are several famous towns around, suitable for a short stay; the mountain train can reach Schafberg; there are bicycle paths and trails along the lake, both for cycling and hiking. I also encountered diving, which seemed to be a beginner's training
[Value for money] Lake Wolfgang is a traditional holiday destination for locals, with complete facilities”
梅理熊:“In the old town of Salzburg, roughly parallel to the Salzach River, it is the busiest street in Salzburg, with restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and Mozart's birthplace is also on this street.
This street is also famous for its large number of iron signs with different shapes. The globally unified McDonald's has different looks here. There are also many people wearing local costumes, which is considered unique.”

Pei Sze 78:“Fantastic location right next to the Salzburg Hauptbahnhof—super convenient for exploring the city. Our room was large and airy, much bigger than expected for a city hotel. The room windows offer spectacular views of Salzburg’s skyline and the surrounding Alps, adding a special touch to the stay.”
Jamies Travel:“Wasn't expecting much, besides a safe place to stay, but was pleasantly surprised. Our room was lovely and had all the amenities that we needed. Staff was extremely friendly on arrival and helped us with parking and drinks in the bar. After checking out I came back to the hotel to ask if they had a take-away spoon and the gent at the counter happily got 2 different options for me. Couldn't ask for more and would definitely stay there again.”
Manoj Ramchandani:“Honestly the photos on Trip.com do not justify how beautiful the hotel it. Is an old hotel but beautifully and well maintained. The rooms ., the artistic painting in the passages and so much more is simply outstanding. The front desk was helpful and very efficiently. Honest Zell am See is a must see and stay for the Grand Hotel. Outstanding.”
Monetchkin:“1) house keeping service to be improved.
2) hotel customer service to be improved.
3) restaurant service to be improved.
overall, 5 stars hotel but 4 stars service”
Jade:“Salzburg is beautiful and this hotel is clean and spacious. But at $300 SGD per night without breakfast thrown in, I do expect much more. But everything is very basic”
Benny Hon Chung:“This hotel's location is excellent. It is about 15 minutes walk to the old town centre and 10 minutes to the railway station. The meeting point for local tours to Hallstatt and other places is just around the corner. The reception staff are always attentive and polite. They have greeted me with a smile whenever they saw me. The restaurant Mirabelle's Italian cuisine is one of the best I have ever tasted. The staff there are very welcoming and caring. The hotel's room service delivered very good food at a reasonable price too. The room is of a good size and the bed is comfortable. The only thing I don't like is the noise of the vehicle clearing rubbish bins. It always woke me up before six in the morning. So choose the rooms on the garden side if there is a choice.”
诗意情节:“St. Peter's Restaurant is the oldest restaurant in the world. The environment in the restaurant is very unique and has a heavy sense of history. There are photos of celebrities such as Clinton and British princes and princesses hanging on the walls of the restaurant. The dishes are not exquisite, but they taste good.”
TheForkUser:“This restaurant is truly something special. It's not just great food, warm welcome, amazing service and excellent staff that go above and beyond, it's a whole experience. The ambiance, interior, music, people, food... Everything comes together perfectly. Also the surroundings of the restaurant make you feel like you just landed in a fairy tale. We've visited them for two years now and are planning to come back next year. 10 out of 10!”
TheForkUser:“The Personal was very friendly and caring nonstop about our wishes. The food was excellent with a big choice. We get full in big Portions and totally statisfait in an christmas colours atmosphere Restaurant.”
非你不渴:“I can't control my craving for ice cream. This time when I came to Europe, I had to eat ice cream at least twice a day. I really like this kind of lifestyle. In a country like Europe, you need a good stomach for all kinds of cold food.”
寂寞的西瓜:“Hotel Food Series @ Taste.It
On a rainy night, I was too lazy to go out and find food, so this Italian restaurant on the first floor of the Sheraton Salzburg became the first choice for lazy people.
Although the service was a little bit mediocre, it was all very nice and humorous. OK, let's get the score back~
Pasta, desserts, etc. were basically in the range of 70 to 80 points, which was above average. Although the overall food was not outstanding, it was still a decent and serious product.
Compared with those excellent restaurants in the old town of Salzburg, there is really no need to go there specifically. However, for hotel guests, it is indeed a good and convenient choice.”
TheForkUser:“Restaurant is amazing ,food is amazing & service is amazing 5 stars ???? would definitely go back ,so glad I found this restaurant that was next door to my hotel the lovely binggl”
咩lin:“#創創動計劃分萬萬现金 吐血整理 What I ate during my 7 days in Czech, Austria and Hungary
📝Written in the front, not real-time!!! I went there in November, and it took three months to post. Maybe I’m in the late stage of procrastination () The first food sharing is dedicated to Czech, Austria and Hungary👌🏻
-
📝Our trip is 7 days, and the restaurants are also shared in this order: Prague-Austrian Lake District-Salzburg-Vienna-Budapest-Prague (Prague I put it last)
-
1. Börni Börger-Bad Ischl (Austrian Lake District
2. Baltram-Salzburg
3. Zwettler's Wirtshaus-Salzburg
4. Chattanooga-Vienna
5. Öfferl-Vienna
6. Menza-Budapest
7. KFC-Prague
8. Deer Restaurant-Prague
9. Ribs of Prague-Prague
10. Chimney Ice Cream-Prague
11. comebuy-Prague
12. regiojet train meals, Mozart chocolate, and some snacks and souvenirs

📝To sum up, I felt that every meal was pretty good, but at the end of the trip, my tongue and stomach felt very bland, so I had a meat meal in Prague to recover. After returning home, I was a little allergic to bread and missed Baltram a little.

爱玩耍的小妞儿:“This is an Austrian chain store, with locations in Vienna, Salzburg, and Innsbruck. The specialty is fried shrimp. We ordered several types of cold shrimp, grilled lobster, bamboo shoots, fried shrimp, and beer. Originally, because there were several types of cold shrimp with the same price, we wanted to have a platter, and asked if we could mix it. He said yes, but we still didn't communicate clearly. One spoonful of one type of cold shrimp was a large plate. Maybe they don't have the habit of mixing several types like us. The shrimps are the same, but the sauces are different. The taste is sour, spicy, and not bad. The lobster is too old, don't order it. Fried shrimp is ordered separately on the other side. Overall, it looks more pleasing to the eye, but the taste is not too amazing.”
TheForkUser:“Very nice restaurant: the interior looked very nice, the food was excellent and the personnel was very friendly and service minded. The menu consists of small items that you order consecutively, so that you can taste different things. Fish, meat, vegetarian and vegan items are on the menu. The drinks, cocktail aperitifs and rosé wine were also good”
