Schengen Moments: Through Travelers' Eyes

Post
Here’s a quick guide to Vilnius city and a journey down to Soverato Marina – two totally different vibes, but both super worth it 🌍🚀

Top Spots to Visit in Vilnius:
🏰 Old Town - Imagine strolls among baroque buildings and quirky courtyards (perfect for Insta shots). Address: Pilies g., LT-01123 Vilnius. Most cafes/restaurants open from 10am; great for early chill!
⛪ St. Anne's Church - A Gothic jewel for architecture lovers (free entry, 7am–7pm).
🌲 Bernardine Park - Chill spot for picnics or just decompressing after sightseeing. Open sunrise to sunset.

Personal tip: Vilnius is super walkable! Save money by skipping taxis – everything’s legit close and public transport is super convenient (buy your tickets inside the bus or use the Trafi app).

Soverato Marina - Ultimate Calabria Beach Town:
🏖️ The beach is clean, sandy, with crystal water. Go early or late afternoon for less crowd and that golden light.
🍕 Eat at Lido di Pietra (Via Lungomare, classic pizza right on the sea, open noon–11pm).
🌅 Promenade stroll – the Lungomare is lively with local gelato stands and bars.

Travel Insights: Trains in Italy are reliable; use regional trains from Lamezia Terme airport to Soverato (recently upgraded, cheap fares!). Tip: Validate tickets BEFORE boarding.

How to get around: In Vilnius, walk or use buses. In Soverato, local taxis are cheap, but walking works if you’re staying near the beach.

Destination Hacks: No visa needed (Schengen area), both cities accept cards but cash helps for street food or tiny shops. Weather’s mild spring-to-fall, so dress light.
