Photos of Langqi Island

Langqi Island in Fuzhou is known as the Pearl of the Minjiang Estuary. The tidal flat area is 37 square kilometers and the coastline is 30 kilometers long. The island is 15.3 kilometers long from east to west and 8.1 kilometers wide from north to south, which is equivalent to the area of Hong Kong Island and is the fourth largest island in Fujian Province. The natural conditions are very superior, and it is a good place for tourism, sightseeing and leisure. The island belongs to Langqi Town, Mawei District, Fuzhou City. There are four ancient temples on Langqi Island (Baiyun Temple, Tianzhu Temple, Tian'an Temple, Nanshan Temple), with more than 10 ancient temples, ancient ancestral halls, ancient forts, and ancient tombs of famous people. The ten scenic spots of Langshan Mountain on the island are: Baiyun Watching the Sun, Yunlong Chaoyin, Shuanggui Pakou, Five Tigers Guarding the Gate, Tianzhu Tingquan, Luzhou Suyan, Golden Rooster Reporting the Dawn, White Monkey Zhenjiang, Bridge Lying Bo, Pu Lin exploring seclusion.
