Open-air display In the open space, there are anti-aircraft guns, artillery, armored vehicles, tanks and other heavy military weapons that have participated in the battle. Some were supplied by the former Soviet Union and China, and some were captured from the French and American troops. In particular, there is a former Soviet-made MiG-21 fighter jet on top of a large pile of French-made aircraft wreckage and the scrap iron of the American-made F111 aircraft in the center of the open space, implying that Vietnam successfully shot down the American aircraft in the Battle of Dien Bien Phu. deeds. If you look closely at this MiG-21 fighter, you can see 14 red stars on the nose. It is said that when the Vietnam Army fought, if each fighter could shoot down an American plane, a red star would be added to the nose to praise it. This shows that this aircraft has a remarkable record.
