中环至半山自动扶梯系统由香港政府兴建,原意是为方便半山区居民往来中环商业区,并舒缓半山区狭窄道路的繁忙情况,系统耗资2亿4千万港元兴建,在1993年10月15日启用。而每年所使用的电费估计高达50万港元。该计划的原本设计是兴建六条类似的扶手电梯系统,后来兴建中途发现严重超资问题,最终只起了一条便没有继续该项计划。_We***95

The Central Center is the fourth tallest skyscraper in Hong Kong, with a height of 346 meters and a total of 73 floors above the ground. It is located on Queen's Road in the Central and Western District. The pillars of the building are decorated with stainless steel and carved in relief, giving it a metallic and futuristic feel. A low-voltage neon light system is installed in the Central Center. The lights can be controlled by computer and change colors upwards with the rotation angle of the building. It is one of the eye-catching buildings on the Victoria Harbour.
