Recently we visited the world class themepark - Legoland. It’s located at Gelang Patah , 30 minutes from Johor Bahru airport. We reach here at 9am but the gate only open at 9.30am. Our favourite ride is Ninjago Adventure and Lego Race. The best thing here is my 5 years old boys can enjoy all the ride as the minimum height is 105cm where all other themepark required a minimum 120cm.
Other things that i love about this park is they have a covered air condition building for kids to rest whenever the felt tired in a hot weather. And please buy the tickets online to avoid long que.

Halloween happens every year on 31 October and it's just around the corner since we are already in the month of October, so what better way to celebrate Halloween than to be in Legoland Malaysia, where the whole place is decked in Halloween decorations and fun filled Halloween activites.
Kids will be in for a treat as there's many Halloween photo taking spots. You can pose with lego bricks halloween characters, put on a Dracula costume and stand next to a lego Dracula character, stand on top of a pumpkin structure made entirely out of lego bricks. Muscial instruments are there, where you can play a tune to and different lego stations where you can make your own scary lego creations. At Legoland Malaysia food kiosks, don't forget to look out for their special Halloween treats such as Halloween themed muffins, cookies, waffle ice cream and many more. When staying at St Giles Hotel in Johor Bahru Malaysia, I had the opportunity to have dinner at Kinsahi Japanese restaurant in adjoining Mid Valley South Key shopping mall and it was great.
The restaurant’s interior was cosy and the menu choices offered a good selection of Japanese dishes. They even had a variety of bento sets and prices were reasonable. Everything we ordered was delicious.
I will be back!
My rating of those restaurants: 3.5 ⭐️ out of 5!

Vivo Pizza is a western concept dining restaurant in Malaysia selling pizza and various western mains. The outlet is brightly decorated with comfortable sofa booth seats.
There are lots of choices of food and promotions at the restaurant and prices are quite reasonable with good serving size portions. We also have their Power Juices which were freshly blended when ordered. It's overall a nice early lunch treat which is filling and tasty.

As a parent, I always love to bring my kids out for a tea treat once in a while. When we were in Johor Bahru, I was glad to have found a kid friendly cafe with amazing service, located on the ground floor of Mid Valley Southkey Mall. This cafe is called Antipodean and they have affordable tea set, which includes a cake and a drink for only RM15. The cafe has a nice modern Aussie cafe feel and you will definitely feel welcome by the warm service of the cafe staffs.
There's a great variety of cakes to choose from, such as butter free chocolate cake, raisin loaf, carrot cake, etc. For drinks, you can choose from caffeinated to non caffeinated drinks and I chose their iced mocha, which comes with with a cute bear coffee ice cream. I also had their chocolate cake which was very moist and I enjoyed it with my son. I love that the cake slice was nicely decorated with chocolate drizzled messages, such personalization. My son was also given a cup of complimentary baby-ccino. The cafe really went great lengths in making sure, both mother and son had a great tea break. Do note that Antipodean Cafe also do serve brunch and mains if high tea is not your thing. You will love the excellent service there and trust me, it's a very kid friendly cafe which families will love.

I visited Mid Valley Mall during the Hari Raya period months ago and managed to witness the entire mall deck up in decorations!
Since malls out of Singapore are generally bigger, I was like going to mid valley to check their themed decorations and for trip moments haha.
This time they featured many pop up stores all over the mall, resembling the olden days kampung.
There was even craft making for kites.
Visitors can also check out the various clothings or check out at a glance what the mall is selling from the various pop up. Remember to check the mall out when you are in Johor Bahru!

KSL Hotel and Resort provides their guest the convenience of accessing the nearest shopping mall, which is only located right beside the hotel, the KSL mall!
What makes it even more awesome is that, if you stay at the hotel on Monday, there is a night market right outside KSL mall starting from 5pm. Imagine taking away our favourite food and having them hot at KSL hotel!
The room itself is pretty comfortable and spacious. The air-conditioner is one of the best especially with the extreme hot weather in Johor Bahru.

What a berry perfect staycation! I am here at my weekly Johor Bahru staycation and discover a new restaurant. It is super nearby KSL Hotel and I walk over here easily. If you are coming for dinner then it is better you make a reservation. They also have a live band playing at night. I went during lunch and there was no crowd at all. I like their menu and they also have special cocktails. You also can sit on their upper deck but it is a smaller area. During the day, the live singing area is warm so it is better to sit indoors. I like their menu and will find another time to revisit.

Great stay at KSL Resort Johor Bahru
❤️Great stay at KSL! The room is nice with great view. Room also very clean and the cleaning staff were all very nice.
❤️Check-out was super fast by simply returning the keys into box.
❤️There are general pool and waterpark facilities in this hotel.The waterpark is payable at Rm20 per head. My daughter really enjoyed the stay here.
❤️The food selection is variety and good!

St Giles South key Johor Bahru is a 10 minute drive from KSL City Mall and Johor Bahru City Square. This hotel is very convenient and is easily access to the shopping mall.
The staff is friendly and the room is clean. The price is also affordable. Good to have a short getaway from Singapore. There is complimentary parking for hotel guests.
Had an enjoyable stay, will stay there again.

Thank you to Trip.com for having a good deal with St Giles Southkey JB. We got 2 rooms for just $160 per night! Now it’s not easy to meet with such prices without codes and Trip coins.
Its our first visit. While there’s a queue at check-in, the Front Desk was doing their best with all 4 counters opened. I am hearing Singlish all around me and you can imagine how popular it is with Singaporeans.
We were lucky enough to be given adjoining rooms with one which is a corner room. The size is much bigger and more comfortable.
I like that the hotel supports sustainability and there is a water dispenser outside for guests to fill up. No single-use bottles to reduce plastic use.
The hotel is so popular and it is running full house. Hence we were not successful in a late check-out request. No worry as they very quickly offer to watch over our multiple bags at the concierge while we continued our shopping.
Hope to be back soon when Sister Trip again offer good rates with attractive promo codes.

Wonderful corner king room at St Giles JB

Over the long weekend holiday, I had a staycation in St Giles Hotel at South Key Johor Bahru. It was my time staying in a corner king room at the hotel.
If given the opportunity, do give the corner room a try. Both the room and the bathroom are more spacious than the regular corridor room. The bathroom is also very clean. Overall, corner room feels somewhat newer than regular corridor room.
I always like staying at St Giles hotel because it is very conveniently located at Mid Valley South Key shopping mall.
I will be back!

Highlights - International Buffet spread which includes Western food like eggs, hotdogs, baked beans, hams, wide spread of breads and crossaint, pancakes, waffles, variety of yogurts to choose from and chocolate and plain cereals. Asian Cuisine like Nasi Lemak, Lontong Sayur lodeh, Mee Goreng, Dishes like Oyster fish, beef with spices, Steamed buns. Hot and cold drinks available like cappuccino, latte, teh tarik, coffee tarik and Americano. Cold drinks like Guava juice, milk and water.

Follow me and I will bring you to feasting at Dine at Eight Holiday Inn JB. The breakfast here is so popular and you have to wake up early to come here. Don’t worry too much because during crowded period, the staff will also allow sitting at the lobby lounge for breakfast. So it is still ok to wake up a bit later. The egg station is a special queue so you can place your egg orders and come back to collect it later. There is also the noodles and dim sum station, and you might not be able to spot it. It is right at the corner. There are several coffee machines around the restaurant to ease the long queue too.
