Dalu Island is perhaps one of the last paradise in Southeast Asia, with open beaches and jungles full of wildlife. But this remote island in the Andaman Sea in eastern Thailand is even more widely known for its shocking and dangerous experience. The Daru Island National Marine Park in Thailand is made up of the most beautiful islands in the country. Although among the many islands in Thailand, the islands that are not ravaged by developers are rare, the 51 islands of the Dalu National Marine Park have always maintained original beaches, turquoise bays and verdant tropical plants. The same is true of Daru Island, the largest island in the park. However, Daru Island is not always beautiful. At the end of 1930, the Thai Prison Service began a survey of islands across the country to find a suitable place to serve as a place of exile, alleviating the pressure of overcrowding in Bangkok prisons. They chose Daru Island. Located on a 40km southwest coast of Thailand, Daru Island is remote and people who are imprisoned here are hard to escape.
