Santa Catalina Island is a splendid pearl on the scattered coastal islands of California, USA. The island revolves around the bay of Avillon. This bright blue crescent-shaped pier was a good hiding place for pirate ships during the Spanish occupation more than 400 years ago, and the white "Crescent Beach" is full of sight. Everything you see can be drawn. The city of Avalon on the island is connected to San Pedro and Long Beach by ferry and flight, and there are seal habitats and underwater parks on the island.
