The White Pagoda of the Song Dynasty, also known as the "Infinite Pagoda", was built during the Jianlong period of the Northern Song Dynasty (960 AD), more than a thousand years ago. It is located in the Heming Mountain Scenic Area in the west of Gaoping District, Nanchong City, at the west end of the Jialing River Bridge. Architectural Features The White Pagoda is 37.1 meters high and is a 13-story imitation wood and dense eaves brick pagoda. Its unique shape and exquisite craftsmanship have high historical art and value. The base of the White Pagoda is made of strips of stone, with dragon and lin patterns carved around it. The tower body is made of blue bricks and is a pavilion-style bucket arch building. It is covered with white ash all around, and the columns, Fangs and bucket arches are all painted with earthy yellow dye, which is especially bright and dazzling under the sunlight. The tenth floor in the east is inscribed with the six characters "Jianlong Longevity Tower". There are small niches on the outer walls of the second to tenth floors. Each floor has twelve columns. The lower four floors are surrounded by bricks. Starting from the fifth floor, only One person can climb to the top. There are bells hanging on the antique "white tower morning bell" artistic conception on the pagoda, and the morning wind blows, like the sound of nature. The top of the tower is made of cast iron, and the outer circle is hollow, which can not only prevent lightning strikes, but also allow people to climb the top of the tower from space and enjoy the scenery of Nanchong city. "Going to look around the Qianfengxiu, the bells are scattered into the five clouds", which adds another landscape to Nanchong.
