The Menghuang Pavilion in Kobe and the Xiangma Building in Hakou have similar appearance. They are all light apple-green European-style cabins. But in fact, it was a small white building before Menghuangguan. When it was renovated in 1987, it painted the exterior wall a light apple green. I wonder if it was inspired by Xiangma Tower. The Menghuang Pavilion was originally the apartment of the old American Consul Hunt, and later became the residence of former Kobe Telecom President Kobayashi Kobayashi. Nowadays, it is designated as an important national cultural heritage by Japan. Next to the Wind See Chicken Pavilion, the two pavilions can buy joint tickets to visit.
