The Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, referred to as Nepal for short, is a landlocked country in the mountains of South Asia. It is the birthplace of Buddhism, one of the three major religions in the world. It is located at the southern foot of the Himalayas, bordering the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China in the north, Sikkim State in the east, West and South Bangladesh, Bihar State, Uttar State and North Akand State in the Indian Republic. 。 Nepalese settled in the Kathmandu Valley in the 6th century BC. Later, the immigration of India and the invasion of Britain jointly formed the history of Nepal. Nepal is an agricultural country, with 80 (%) of its population engaged in agricultural production, and is one of the least developed countries in the world. After 1992, Nepal signed the agreement of accession to the World Trade Organization and became a member of the multi-level economic and technical cooperation mechanism of the South Asian Free Trade Area and the Bay of Bengal. Recently, as Nepal's major political parties plunged into constitutional disputes, CPN-Maoism, the country's left-wing Maoist party, announced a "militarization transition" to recruit members of the "Liberation Army" disbanded after the civil war to form a full-time militarized force.
