[Kyoto Busan Park] Busan Park was built in 1886 and is the earliest park to open. It is located on the east side of Yasaka Shrine and covers an area of about 90,000 square meters. Busan Park is centered on the back-to-back pool spring courtyard, surrounded by snack bars and tea shops. The scenery is beautiful all year round. It is the most famous cherry blossom viewing scenic spot in Kyoto. The "branched cherry" is more than 200 years old, and it is a precious variety in cherry blossoms. "Gion Night Cherry" is the final play of the flower viewing season, and the park is therefore designated as a national-level attraction. 2020 cherry blossom season review
