Taizhou Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Qianduo (Raised Wetland Fields) Scenic Area Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Surrounded by water, it blooms at four o'clock, and the rape blossoms from the spring breeze are dotted between the fields, elegant and elegant; they are rooted in the stream, fashionable and fresh; they accompany the ecological millennium, dignified and elegant. If peach blossoms are suitable for fine appreciation, plum blossoms are worthy of the wind, and the rape blossoms will win over the ground. Seeing peaches, enjoying plums, and enjoying chrysanthemums are more poetic paintings that people have given since ancient times. Looking at rapeseed flowers is much simpler. Simply feeling the vitality of spring, the golden eyes under the spring green is a kind of enjoyment.
Taizhou's Waterborne Rapeseed Flowers, a springtime spectacle not to be missed!
🔥Hey buddies~ Today I want to recommend a stunning spring destination in Taizhou, Jiangsu - the waterborne rapeseed flower sea! & 🌸
✨Come spring, Taizhou's waterborne rapeseed flowers become a popular spot for visitors, with golden petals covering the water surface, creating a golden ocean that is utterly refreshing. These rapeseed flowers are different from those on land; they grow on the water, complementing the blue sky, white clouds, and clear water, forming a captivating springtime painting.
Imagine sitting on a swaying boat🚤, gliding through this golden sea of flowers, surrounded by fresh air and the subtle fragrance of blossoms, with butterflies fluttering occasionally - isn't this the most beautiful poem of spring?
Moreover, this place is not just great for photography, but also for relaxing and enjoying nature. You can bring a few friends or come with your family to enjoy the peaceful and harmonious countryside life, slowing down the pace of your busy life.
❤️Here are some tips!
1. The best viewing period is usually from March to April each year, when the rapeseed flowers are in full bloom, so remember to plan your trip in advance!
2. Dress lightly, as the wind over the water can still be a bit chilly even in spring.
3. If possible, try to avoid weekends and holidays to prevent the place from being too crowded, which could affect the viewing experience.
Lastly, don't forget to bring your camera to capture this rare beauty, and share it on Trip.com, so more friends can enjoy the splendor of spring together!
Come and experience this golden dream with me! &0🔥 Waiting for you~ &🌸 Li Zhong Water Forest Park
Xinghua Qianduo rapeseed flowers in Taizhou
Today's real shot (April 9, 2024) The Qianduo rapeseed flower scenic area in Xinghua has fully bloomed. Friends with ample time can watch the night performances in the scenic area, which also include drone shows and fireworks. For accommodations, you can choose farm stays or B&Bs near the scenic area.
🗓Ticket: 45 RMB/person
📝Note tips: The boat ticket is 50 RMB/person, but you can skip it if you are physically fit.
🌟Highlight features: It is recommended to go up the tower for a better viewing experience.
🕙Night show time: The night performance starts at around 7:30 pm and lasts for an hour.
Do not come to see the rapeseed flowers at Qianduo Fields now, it will be devastatingly beautiful
Qianduo Fields is not only one of the four major rapeseed flower scenic areas in the country, with its unique waterborne rapeseed fields, but it is also a national key cultural relics protection unit, a world irrigation project heritage site, where pastoral scenery and historical culture are perfectly integrated.
However, during the Qingming holiday period, I'm a bit inclined to dissuade people from coming, as it's simply too crowded. Taking a taxi from Xinghua city center, the traffic jam lasted more than an hour, and the scenic area was packed with people, requiring long queues for boat rides. Still, the overall experience is within an acceptable range. The flowering period should last another week, so I suggest avoiding the holiday period. If you plan to come tomorrow, please be mentally prepared.

The enduring 'The Lord of the Rings' has been remastered in 4k, and the forest where the elves live is loved by everyone, full of greenery and vitality. In Taizhou, Jiangsu, there is such an elf forest.
Known for its water forest, rare birds, and vast expanses of dawn redwoods, it covers an area of 2,000 acres and is also Xinghua's first 4A-level tourist attraction. Let's embark on a Middle-earth journey in the name of the elf forest!
【Travel Preparation】
🎈Address: Lizhong Water Forest Park
🚘Transportation: Self-driving is recommended~
🎫Ticket Price: 50 yuan/person, Bamboo Raft Drifting: 40 yuan/person
⏰Opening Hours: 08:00-17:00
✨Activities: Misty Forest, Jiuzhaigou, Cultural Corridor, Wobo Bridge, Listening Wind Cottage, Shigong Pavilion, etc.
❶Misty Forest Fantasy
The Misty Forest show starts every hour on the hour, with six shows a day, the latest at 3 pm. When I went, I just caught the forest performance, with mist rising up.
🌱Under the sunlight, the water mist quickly vaporizes, creating a smoky haze. Through the gaps in the trees, beautiful light and shadow are formed.
❷Jiuzhaigou
If you want to capture birds, look here! After getting off the bamboo raft, you'll reach the 'Jiuzhaigou' water plank road, where the wooden path winds through the green waters, adorned with various buildings.
🌴It's also the best spot for bird watching, with egrets, black cuckoos, wild ducks, and other birds inhabiting it year-round, with up to 100,000 at most and normally around 60,000!
❸Cultural Corridor
Walking through the Cultural Corridor, you'll be fascinated not only by the scenery but also by the cultural construction of the water forest, just like the trees rooted in water, eventually holding up a piece of the sky.
❹Wobo Bridge
Where there's water, there's a bridge, connecting two worlds. Wobo Bridge, with its wooden structure, lies quietly on the water, reflecting the bridge on the surface. When the wind blows, petals scatter on the water, bringing change to both worlds. This is also an excellent spot to observe 'fish in the water'.
❺Listening Wind Cottage
The cottage nestles in the forest, blending with the surroundings as if it never existed. Only when the wind passes, bringing the scent of grass, can one be surprised to find this resting place. Here, you don't just enjoy the water forest with your eyes; with your ears, with your heart, you'll be immersed in the entire forest world.
❻Shigong Pavilion
Where there are trees, there is a forest; where there is distance, there is poetry. Shigong Pavilion is built to commemorate Shi Nai'an and has become a must-visit for tourists on a cultural journey.
🌱If you see someone daydreaming, don't disturb them, as a beautiful article may be born in the next second.
❤️Come to Lizhong Water Forest, and you and your camera will both return fully loaded!
The Qingming festival marks the season when the rapeseed flowers in Xinghua, Taian, are in full bloom
Rapeseed flowers in Pingduo, Xinghua, Taizhou, usually bloom around the Qingming festival each year, and currently about a quarter of them have blossomed, with expectations that they will bloom even more beautifully after Qingming. The Qianduo scenic area is a globally important agricultural cultural heritage, renowned worldwide for its unique 'duotian' landscape. 'Duo' is a type of agricultural landscape unique to the Lixiahe region, which, according to historical records, formed about 750 years ago. In the marshy lands where soil was scarce, the industrious and intelligent people of Xinghua excavated mud from the network of deep ditches or small rivers in the lake and marsh areas, piling it up block by block to form mounds, creating the cultivable 'duotian'.
Due to the higher elevation, good drainage, and fertile soil of the 'duotian', it is particularly suitable for growing fruits, vegetables, and melons. Since the 1950s, the 'duotian' rapeseed has been highly regarded nationwide, earning the reputation of 'leading the way in the country'. Due to the variety and high yield of vegetables, 'duotian' is also known as the 'hometown of vegetables'. Every year during the Qingming festival, the 'duotian' surrounded by water in the Qianduo scenic area is covered with golden rapeseed flowers, attracting numerous tourists for sightseeing. 'Rivers with thousands of bends full of green water, fields without a mound not covered in yellow flowers' is the true portrayal of the rapeseed flowers in Xinghua's 'duotian'.
Water Forest Park
The Li Zhong Water Forest covers an area of 1,550 mu, of which 1,050 mu is forest and 500 mu is water surface. The forest in the scenic area is mainly composed of pond cypress, and birds such as egrets, black bulbuls, and wild ducks inhabit it throughout the year.

Landmark along the river, Taizhou
Taizhou in Jiangsu province is a small city with very few interesting spots. While there may not be much to do, FengCheng river scenic spot is most probably the main attraction of the city.

Qin Lake National Wetland Park Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Lung Cleansing Trip—Weekend at Qinhu Wetland
The journey to Taizhou was hurried, and we got up early the next day to go to Qinhu National Wetland Park🔛 to start a lung cleansing journey.
The distance from the city to Qinhu Wetland is not close, 🚌bus🚖 taxi can get there, we like to experience more local life, so we chose to experience the bus in Taizhou.
After swaying for more than an hour, we finally arrived at Qinhu Wetland. The park is quite large, and there is a small Haichang Ocean Park inside, which looks like it has been there for some years. We took a boat from the dock to the depths of the wetland to begin our lung cleansing journey.
Inside Qinhu Wetland Park, there is also a science museum that introduces wetland ecology, agricultural culture, and so on. It is also a good choice to bring children. In addition, we found an ancient Shousheng Temple inside. It takes about ten minutes to walk along the suspension bridge trail over the lake to get there.
The temple is quiet with few visitors, and you can enter to visit by paying for incense money. What attracted us here is the four-sided Buddha by the lake, walking towards the direction of the Buddha led us here.
Inside the hall, there are practitioners who guide the worship of Buddha, but please note ⚠️ after the worship, they will ask you to leave your name on the merit book, which means additional incense money. If you don't want to leave your name, you can refuse❌
Thousands of poles and myriad paddles stir the waters of Qinhu Lake, as hundreds of boats race with the spring tide
On April 6th, 2024, the Qingtong Conference Boat Festival opened at the Qinhu National Wetland Park in Jiangyan District, Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province. Hundreds of various boats and tens of thousands of participants gathered at Qinhu Lake, maneuvering their poles and paddles vigorously, competing to be the first, presenting a spectacular scene of 'Thousands of poles and myriad paddles stir the waters of Qinhu Lake, as hundreds of boats race with the spring tide.' The event is a portrayal of a folk custom that remains vibrant through the ages. The Qingtong Conference Boat has been passed down since the Southern Song Dynasty, enduring for hundreds of years, and has been listed in the national intangible cultural heritage inventory.
Highlight of Yinhu Lake Guide: Spend a full day on both sides
When the autumn viewing army swarmed into Suzhou Tianping Mountain, I decided to decisively change direction. The fact proves that this is a completely correct decision.
Taizhou, not far from Yangzhou, entered the line of sight.
From Shanghai to Taizhou, it takes 2 hours by high-speed rail. Get off at Jiangyan Station and take a taxi to Yinhu National Wetland Park, about 40 yuan.
Enter the visitor center, the ticket is 80 yuan, take a ferry boat for about 10 minutes to reach the main park area.
Yinhu Park is very large, divided into two parts, one part is the ancient Shousheng Temple where the Pharmacist Buddha Pagoda is located, which is on the west side; the other part is the main park area on the east side, which needs to be accessed by a ferry boat.
It is recommended to leave 1 day for this scenic spot. I only left half a day. I didn't have time to go to the ancient Shousheng Temple, and I could only take a rough tour of the park, which is a bit regrettable.
The park's ferry boat departs every half an hour, and the ferry takes about 10 minutes. The last return trip this season is at 16:50 in the afternoon, so be sure to pay attention to the time and don't miss it.
After landing, first enter the Yinhu Wetland Science Museum for a visit. This is a must-pass route, and then proceed along the Water Breeding Ecological Corridor.
The main park area is divided into 6 areas: Yinhu Health Area, Wetland Exploration Area, Green Field Trace Area, Colorful Four Seasons Area, Waterfront Area, and Deer Calling Flower Valley Area. The scenic area has a sightseeing car, if you have enough time, walking is a better choice.
The scenery of the wetland area is absolutely amazing. The combination of deep autumn golden green, the water system forest under the light and shadow, is very photogenic.
In the Deer Horn Park, there are many adventure areas such as Swing Bridge. Children should like it. The Deer Viewing Platform has deer, although the air doesn't smell good, but seeing the deer brother with deer horns slowly walking into the water is quite interesting.
In general, if you want to see the warm autumn golden, Yinhu Wetland Park is indeed a great choice, the key is that there are few people.
Wetland stupa, ten miles of blue light
summer heat transpiration, it is best to find a place with plenty of water and plants. As the top original wetland park, Wuhu Wetland is suitable for getting close to nature in summer. Tourists sit on a rafting boat and walk through the rivers of dense lotus and water chestnuts. Listening to the millennium ancient tune of singing and boat singers, blowing the cool breeze to see flowers bloom, the time suddenly slows down. Gorgeous paintings traversed the blue waters of the lagoon, the breeze came, and the sky was green. The interweaving river network and the scattered islands of the islands are unique features of the ecological wetlands. When I saw the pagoda at first sight, I suddenly remembered the shock of seeing the first sight of the Lingshan Buddha. This is the Big Buddha standing proudly in the middle of the wetland, and has a more beautiful beauty. Thin clouds are lightly dyed, and the world is silent.
About 15 minutes on the boat, the painting is on the beach. Behind the pier is the wetland science museum, and the wetland trail is behind the popular science museum. In other words, this museum is the only way to visit. Walking out of the museum, it is a water-walking path that makes people feel refreshed. In the meantime, watching the waves of the lakes sway, the stalks are swaying, and under the blue sky, they are slightly thin blue. Outside the green poplar, the grass is warm and the wind is warm, and the reeds are dependent. The scenery seen in the tortuous river course is completely different from the open lake view seen by the previous boat. Here, one step at a time, people can stop and appreciate and can't bear to leave. The Wuhu wetland river network is densely covered, and many rare birds such as swans live here; in the mountain forest on the shore, a group of elks leisurely pace. Tourists take a boat view, watch the white clouds, breathe the fresh air with high oxygen content, and listen to the melodious songs of the boat on the bow. However, whether you are on a boat or on foot, you can enjoy the beautiful ecological environment of the park.
If you encounter a meal during the tour, you can eat in the commercial block at the entrance of the scenic spot and in the Wuhu Bay Fresh Garden in the main scenic spot in the east. The autumn lagoon crab is comparable to the Yangcheng Lake hairy crab. Therefore, if you are coming in the summer and autumn, don't miss the chance to taste delicious in the beauty of nature.
