In 1998, the Datong Building was rebuilt. The reconstructed Datong Building roughly maintained the architectural style of the Ming Dynasty, restored the Ming Dynasty brick and stone city wall, relocated the units and residents who illegally occupied the city wall and the city wall, and restored the Wengcheng. The reconstructed Datong Building covers an area of 2,800 square meters and is 23 meters high, becoming a major historical and cultural landscape in Xichang.
