Photos of Xilingxia Scenic Area

The Xiling Gorge Scenic Area is found in the western suburbs of Yichang City. It is the relatively long section of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. It located at the mouth of the Xiling Gorge. It begins from Gezhouba Dam in the east to the Three Gorges Dam in the west. It is not only one of the birthplaces of Chu culture, but also a sight to travel in Yichang. The scenic area now has Happy Valley, Three Gorges Monkey Creek, Wild Wolf Valley, and Sanyou Cave. Ouyang Xiu once commended this place with verses.
