The hydrangea was in full bloom.
Original Text
Shokakuji is a Shinshu Otani school temple located about 22 minutes walk from JR Akita Station. There are many temples of the Shinshu Otani school (Honzan: Higashi Honganji) in this area. I worshiped when I took a walk around Teramachi in Akita in July. The main hall was a copper-roofed building with a Karamuko worship. Multiple flowers, including hydrangeas, were in full bloom in the precincts. Temples are gathered around the area, so if you are interested in shrines and temples, why not take a leisurely stroll?
