The Prison of Socrates

On the outskirts of the ancient fairs were holes dug out of stone walls and sealed with iron fences. It was said that Socrates'prison had no basis.

I admit that I was very illusioned to visit the place when I read that the great Socrates had been arrested here. The truth is that you're just getting down there, that if you look like a prison, though all the posters show you that this was an old war shelter and here treasures were kept. Beyond this, it's worth rising to the hill where it is, the views pay the effort.

The Acropolis is only a few meters away from this park where the Socrates prison is not so visited. The theory that Socrates was imprisoned here is very controversial, some say it is not real. The building itself remains almost in ruins, without much maintenance.
