Du Fu Thatched Cottage is a museum and park in honor of Du Fu who is one of the most outstanding Chinese poets of Tang Dynasty. Here people can not only explore Du Fu and Chinese Poetry, but also enjoy a sanctuary in the midst of a hectic city.
At the entrance of the Caotang, an explanation was booked. The teacher was teaching history at Chengdu University. He led us for 2 hours and learned more about the life of Du Fu from rich to poor. The teacher's explanation was also very humorous and benefited a lot.

Du Fu's Caotang has a total area of nearly 300 mu, and is divided into: cultural relics attractions tour area (Caotang former site), garden attractions tour area (Meiyuan) and service area (Caotang Temple). In the old site of the Caotang, the walls, the main entrance, the big hall, the poetry and history hall, the Chaimen, the Ministry of Industry are arranged on a central axis, and the two sides are equipped with symmetrical corridors and other attached buildings.
