Can't get the song out of my mind.
I couldn't help singing the song, Big, Bad John, as soon as I heard about this statue. I even brought up the old movie on You Tube. The picture doesn't capture the true size of this statue.
Loved this town. The statue is tall and quite impressive to see. Kept hearing Jimmy Dean in my mind singing the song. Fun quick stop on the way to Arches.

My husband loved this
Nice piece of the history of the working men and women who built this country. Stopped and took some photos.
Nice Statue
This was a very large statue in Helper. It was a great drive by to see this representation of the mining history.
Tall Miner
Walked by interesting statue. The library and old city hall is also interesting. Seeing tourist activities always interesting.
Cue Jimmy Dean
