Tangdai Chanyu Dadu Hufu Ruins

The site of Tang Dynasty Shanyu Dadu Hufu is located in Tuchengzi, Hohhot City and Lingeer County. The so-called Shanyu Dadu Hufu is the capital of the prefecture where the Monan Turks live. It is the political and cultural center of the Monan Turks. In Tang Longshuo three years (663 AD), the Tang Dynasty built the city in today and Linger, and established the Yunzhongdu Hufu. The site is clearly visible so far. The city wall is built with soil, the highest remaining about 5 meters, and the outer city plane is slightly like a diamond. The east wall is 1750 meters long, the west wall is 1200 meters long, the north wall is 1250 meters long, and the south wall has been washed by the baby river, and the remaining length is more than 500 meters.

Before liberation, the stone carvings such as "Tang Zhen-style festivals made single in the majority of the city to protect Zhang Weiqing Dezheng Stele" were unearthed here in 820 AD; after liberation, there were also bronze porcelain statues, bronze prints, porcelain, bronze mirrors, copper money and other cultural relics, and many tombs of the Tang Dynasty were found near the site.
