Temple introduction
Muya Monastery, also known as Muya Wuming Buddhist College, once you get here you'll notice so many vehicles🚗 coming and going at the entrance, but hardly anyone actually enters, making Muya Monastery quite niche. Passing through a red residential area of the faithful🏠, you can see Muya Monastery standing on the grassland, surrounded by mountains and backed by Yala Snow Mountain. Every year from the 1st of the 10th month of the Tibetan calendar to the 15th of January of the following year, a winter Dharma assembly🙏🏻 is held, attracting about 100,000 Tibetans to participate, now becoming one of the centers of Tibetan Buddhist culture in the Kham area.
Temple surroundings check-in spots👇🏻
1. In front of Jomo Temple, there's a colorful Mani stone pile with billions of Mani stones stacked over 200 years of history, where you can buy a stone engraved with scripture to place on the scripture wall.
2. There are many wild animals🐐 near the temple, all rescued and released after being injured, and with some luck, you might encounter wild blue sheep🦙 and deer🦌.
3. The temple is actually open to visitors👌🏻, because few people come, many think it's not accessible, but I believe once you enter, you'll be amazed by the glittering decorations🤩.
4. Standing in the open, you can hear the healing 'surround-sound chanting' from the temple, with distant snow-capped mountains and continuous clouds forming a magnificent landscape.
Why the temple is a niche check-in spot📷
The temple is on the must-pass route G248 to Moshishan Park, but you need to turn into a side road next to the main road and drive for about 5 minutes to see it. Although there is an archway🚏 nearby, sometimes the signs are not clear, so it's easy to miss.

Trip highlights👜
Muya Temple is located in a hidden secret place, deep in the Tagong grassland, known as "small color", the architectural style is unique and charming, the environment is beautiful, the earth is pure, beautiful! Recommended, good!
The Tibetan Buddhist monastery located on the Kangding Pagoda Prairie is relatively large in scale. The temple is full of temples and quiet environment. There are many monks practicing here. It is very friendly. There is also a deer farm in the temple.
Muya Temple is a group of temples composed of Lama Temple, Juemu Temple and Buddhist College. It is located in Jiagu Lane Village under Yala Shenshan in the east of Tagong Grassland. The temple is surrounded by Muya Tibetans and Lama and Juemu's residence. Whenever the sound of a magnetic horn chanting on the mountain is sounded, the Lama and Juemu walk out of the temple, The residence, from the surroundings to the Buddhist school to chanting, listeners of the law around the barrel of the prayer circle.
When I first saw the notes of Muya Temple, I was attracted by the words "small color". It was because I went to Seda four years ago and left a very good memory, so I also had a lot of expectations for Muya Temple. But after I really went, I found out that in fact, Muya Temple and Seda style are not very similar, Muya Temple has the beauty of Muya Temple, Seda also has the beauty of Seda, personally do not agree with the small Seda statement. Muya Temple has only gradually entered everyone's vision in recent years. Even now it can only be regarded as a "niche travel place" in Ganzi Prefecture. The temple is located in the village of Rima in Tagong Town. The whole village and temple are located at the foot of Yala Snow Mountain & # 127956; ️. With a paradise-like scenery and a strong Tibetan cultural atmosphere. The word "Muya" represents the Tibetan region with a long history, which is reflected in the villages of Nima. The folk customs here are simple, the tourists are sparse, and there is almost no commercialization. A small number of tourists are just taking pictures quietly. The lamas in the temple pass through the village, and they are not surprised to come. The Muya Temple is divided into architectural communities such as Buddhist College, Lama Temple, Juemu Temple and Tibetan Hospital. You can see the Juemu Temple and other buildings in the village. The mountain behind the village is the main building of the big temple. Here you can see the Yala Snow Mountain behind. There are a lot of plaques engraved with six words of truth on the walls of the temple. The denseness is a unique landscape. Under the plaque is a golden turn wheel, and there are local Tibetans and lamas almost always turn. Looking at the village of Rima from the Muya Temple, there is indeed a little shadow of "small colored", but here and the red house with unified color of color are different. The houses in each village are more scattered and rich in color, but the scale is much smaller than that of Seda. There is no shock of Seda. It is a low-key and simple beauty.
It is very quiet and niche, there is no impetuous feeling, the villagers and monks here are very friendly! Although the playability is not high, it is indeed a good place to relax the mind for the working dog who is pressured to work in the city! You can also see Gongga Snow Mountain and what kind of snow mountain. . . Very magnificent!
