Koutammakou

[West Africa] After several twists and turns, I finally found koutammakou, the only world cultural heritage in Togo. The house where people live in the original local village can be regarded as "small but complete". The mud tower structure contains living, cooking, storing grain, and even bunkers to defend against foreign or wild animals. The tower I climbed up was a large barn, and it seemed that food was important to them. Meanwhile, the yard is full of lambs, chickens, piglets, plus this lovely building, there is a feeling of a toy world. 【Tips】: There is not much infrastructure built for tourists in the local area, so it is best to join a tour group, self-driving cars can enter along the dirt road northeast of Kande, or cross the border from Bukombe in Benin.

【西非行】几经波折终于找到koutammakou，这个多哥唯一的世界文化遗产。当地原始村落人们居住的房子，算得上“麻雀虽小 五脏俱全”。泥制塔形结构中，包含居住，做饭，储存粮食，甚至还有碉堡，用来抵御外族或者野兽的攻击。我爬上的那个塔顶就是大大的谷仓，看来粮食对他们很重要。同时院子里满地小羊、小鸡、小猪，加上这个可爱的建筑，有一种玩具世界的感觉。【温馨提示】：当地并无太多专为游客建设的基础设施，所以最好参加旅行团，自驾车可沿Kande东北的土路进入，或从贝宁的Boukombe穿越边境抵达。
