Walked in circles in every direction and asked in two nearby shops (in fluent Spanish) and even asked a police officer. Not a soul had heard of it standing on the street in front of it! I wish I had ...
Small basement
The jail is at the basement of a building that houses some art gallery. If you inquire inside you are allowed to take a look (there are no signs about the jail outside, so you have to trust the given ...
It is interesting, although with the restoration it doesn't keep much of its primitive characters.
This building was restored by Mayor Ana Botella in 2012 and is now a home-based place for the retired.
A bit of history
The historic building recently restored. The terrible part of the history of Spain that we cannot forget. The building and its surroundings deserve the visit.
