Lushan National Ocean Park, located in the sea about four nautical miles northeast of the sea exit of Dongzao Port, Haimen City, Jiangsu Province, is also known as Lu Island, an area of about 3.5 square kilometers. It is a biological reef formed by the accumulation of living oysters in the sea. It enters the water as a reef and the outlet is an island. In order to protect Lushan's natural resources, in 2006, the National Oceanic Administration established a special marine reserve here, and Lushan became the first national marine special reserve in Jiangsu Province.
