Walk for about 2 minutes on a gentle climb from the free parking lot to reach the castle tower. The foundation of the castle tower is "no area" where natural stones are piled up as they are, so it is rough 々 and profound. The castle tower is on a small hill, so you can overlook the park below and the spreading cityscape. In the park, there was also a memorial monument for "Hitoshizuru Oshizu", the shortest letter in Japan famous for "Ichibu Keijo".

Maruoka Castle (also known as Kasumiga Castle) is designated as an important cultural property, one of the existing castle towers. Kasumiga Castle Park, a Japanese garden-style park, is a famous place for cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in autumn. Last time I visited during the cherry blossom season, the cherry blossoms surrounding the castle were very beautiful. This time, I was able to enjoy a different atmosphere from the cherry blossoms during the autumn leaves season.

Maruoka City の に がる Park

    Original Text

1979 It is a park that was developed as a Japanese garden park to commemorate the anniversary of the construction of Maruoka Castle 400 in the year. Spring is famous as a famous place for cherry blossoms, but the autumn leaves season is also wonderful. The name of the park is based on the fact that the other name of Maruoka Castle is called Kasumiga Castle.

It is a Japanese-style park under Maruoka Castle. It's under the main enclosure, so I think it's on the premises of the castle. There was a well-maintained pond and there was a carp.
