Niaodao Xiongguan

鸟道雄关位于巍山、弥渡两县交界处，是一片海拔高差悬殊大、森林茂盛、风景迷人的丘陵盆地。从巍山县城出发，沿着巍弥公路往东约20公里。鸟道雄关是古代“西南丝绸古道”人马驿道的重要通口，至今还保留着明代万历年间刻写的“鸟道雄关 ”石碑。宽1．7米，高0．7米，厚0．1米，4个魏体大字笔力雄健。鸟类专家认为，这是世界上到目前为止发现的唯一最早、最古老的关于“鸟道”的记载。

距离巍山古城约20公里，其中16公里是黄沙飞舞的颠簸土路，要开40分钟，小车（不用越野车）也能顺利开上去，从登记门岗进去（免费，只需登记个人资料）大约再开3公里。停好车后，沿铺满松针及深烙过往马匹蹄印的小径步行上山约30分钟，即可抵达“鸟道雄关”石碑。可能季节正好（我们5月19号来的），蓝天白云，小径不时飘来松籽及林木的清香，偶有一群山羊在坡下，不是候鸟迁徒的季节所以无缘看到大批飞鸟，但林间确是鸟语花香，适合徒步。

Every year from mid-September to mid-October, the "birdway Xiongguan" thick fog, thousands of migratory birds lost their way here, they collided with each other, making various croaks, forming the "bird hanging mountain birdway Xiongguan" spectacle.

Located at the Longqing Pass of Lushan Mountain, every autumn, the thick fog in the Guan is surrounded by thousands of migratory birds passing here, which is very spectacular.
