南普陀寺是现在为数不多门票免费、请香也免费、为保护环境而不提倡烧高香的大寺庙。寺庙前的荷花池面积很大，可惜不是荷花期，这里也是放生池，放生池里的乌龟和大鱼是南普陀寺的一大景点。虽然今天到这里才9点多，已经是人山人海了，到处是请香拜佛的虔诚信徒，还有大批游客，我们跟随人群向寺庙内走去。寺庙后还有一个放生池。
