Hengxi Town, located in Xianju County, Taizhou City, is an ancient township. There are many scenic spots scattered around it, such as Mengsan Gorge, Cangling Danfeng, Pingfengyan, Windmill Highway and so on. Dreaming of the Three Gorges: Located in the Beisiyankeng Reservoir in Hengxi Town, the cliffs on both sides are opposite to each other. Cangling Danfeng: It starts from Canglingkeng Village in Hengxi Town in the south and reaches Tian Village in Jinyun County in the north, with a total length of more than 5 kilometers. This is an ancient road, and it is the only way to the mainland. The mountains on both sides are facing each other, and the mountains are steep. There are many maple trees on the hillsides on both sides of the ancient road. When it comes to late autumn, the frost and red maple are like the sunrise and the sea of fire. Therefore, "Cangling Danfeng" is one of the eight scenic spots in ancient Xianju. Pingfengyan: It is located about 8 kilometers west of Hengxi Town. The more than 500-meter-long cliff is like a huge screen, traversing the boundary. This cliff can be subdivided into four parts: Small Screw Rock, Big Screw Rock, Elephant Rock and Pingfeng Rock. Among them, Pingfeng Rock is more than 130 meters high, and its top is like a cloud. The top of the mountain covers an area of 15,000 square meters, with fruit trees and green bamboos complementing each other, making it quiet and quiet. There are Saw Slate, Longtan Waterfall, Elephant Trunk Rock, Bottomless Cave, Tiger Mouth and other scenic spots nearby. Windmill Highway: Located in Baiyan Mountain, in addition to white windmills, the mountain is also full of golden chrysanthemums. Every August and September, the flowers bloom, yellow and green, forming a beautiful landscape with the windmills, attracting countless tourists to play and take pictures.
