Nice Rest Area with a lot of Options
I stopped here randomly while in the area and was pleasantly surprised. There is a nice restroom here, shops, and a variety of vendors with food. I didn't eat here, but all the little restaurants look...
When I ran east on the national highway from Peace Memorial Park, which is also the place where the end of the Okinawa War, it took about 5 and there was a south station Yaese on the left hand side of the national highway. It was written as "South Station", but it is a small "Road Station". It seemed to have just been built, and it was a new and shiny facility. There are many good things in Yaese Town in the hall. There are also some small shops where you can take out, and each of them can enjoy delicious food in Yaese Town.
I stopped by on the way to Niraikanai Bridge. We sell souvenirs, lunch boxes and light meals. There is also a corner like a farmer's market, where vegetables and mangoes (cheap!) are also sold. The building was clean too.
There are souvenirs, but the local vegetables and fruits look delicious. There are also varieties of mango that are not available in Honshu, so I stopped by on the last day. I was able to shop with peace of mind because I was able to teach me how to eat and how to eat carefully.
It is said to be a tourist base facility in Yaese Town, and it plays a role as a roadside station. There are many special products of Yaese Town (vegetables, processed products, livestock products, etc.), and there is also an eat corner, so it is a place where you can enjoy it.
