This is a shrine, which is located on a top of a small hill at the confine of Yudaonsen. You should go up steps, but it is not so hard as it looks like. From the top, you can also enjoy a partial view...
Kumano Jinja shrine on the outskirts of Yuta Onsen
Kumano Shrine on the outskirts of Yuda Onsen. It is on a small hill and it is quite difficult to climb the stone steps. It is said that Mr. Ouchi started from Kumano in Kishu.

It is on a hill or a low mountain called Mt. Gongen. I will go up a pretty staircase. The scenery is not impressive, but the scenery below looks clear. The main hall is orthodox. Some people used this staircase for training.
Kumano Shrine ♪
I stopped by here when I went to Yuda Onsen. There is a shrine on the mountain, so you can enjoy the cityscape from here. It's a bit off the main location, but it's within walking distance and recommended for a walk.

It is located up the rather steep stairs. It feels like you can see a part of the Yuda Onsen area from a hill. The shrine building itself seems to be nothing to see.
