A stylish luxury two bedroomed upper apartment in a Grade 2 listed building in the centre of Aberaeron. The apartment is part of a recent major building conversion and sensitive re-modernisation of the old HSBC/Midland Bank. The apartment, which has its own outside entrance and stairway, provides exceptional comfort and quality contemporary furnishing and consists of an open-plan fully fitted modern kitchen/dining area with seating for four plus a lounge with TV and two sofas. There are two spacious light and airy bedrooms, one double with a king sized bed, the other with two single beds, and a good sized bathroom with shower unit and bath. A notable feature is the excellent views over the “Square Field” and the countryside beyond. A lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. The Square Field hosts various annual events and festivals, including a Carnival, Garden and Craft Festival, All Wales Tug of War Championship, Welsh Pony and Cob Festival and many others. The apartment is situated within the heart of the idyllic holiday town of Aberaeron (voted best town in Wales 2016) with its picturesque harbour area and architectural interest. It is only about 250 yards away from the Cardigan coast. The town offers a range of facilities and services along with excellent restaurants, chic cafes and beautiful shops. There are excellent clean sandy beaches nearby, lovely parks and riverside walks. Stables Cottage is located in the beautiful and picturesque West Wales countryside. Set within the 12 acre grounds of a secluded 19th Century mansion house, complete with stunning south facing views over the Teifi Valley including river frontage. Wake up to bird song and relax in perfect tranquility. 1/2 a mile to Llandysul village providing all local amenities, a short drive (20-25 mins) to the coast with many beaches to choose from including Poppit Sands, New Quay, Mwnt, Llangrannog, Aberporth, Cwmtydu, Aberaeron etc. Many activites are available nearby including surfing, kayaking, dolphin trips, walking trails, hiking, mountain biking and much more. We have a watersports centre in the village and a leisure centre with swimming pool on our doorstep. The cottage sleeps up to 4 people. There is one double bedroom and one double sofa bed. Plenty of free parking on site with fast wifi included. The double bedroom has a very comfortable bed, bedside tables with lamps, wardrobe with hangers, ottoman, and full length mirror. The cottage is self-contained and fully-equipped for self-catering. Includes a kitchen with oven, hob, sink, kettle and toaster. Dining area with seating for 4. The lounge has a comfortable sofa which converts into a double sofa bed. There is a large, secluded, secure and private garden. There is also a field opposite the cottage for guests to enjoy. The river frontage and estate hosts a myriad of wildlife with over 48 species of birds. During your stay enjoy a river walk or a picnic next to the river in complete tranquility and privacy.
