Hyde Park Winter Wonderland has rapidly become one of the UK's most popular Christmas events. Since launching in 2007, the incredible festive feast has seen on average 2.5 million visitors per year! Here are some of the things you should know before visiting:

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland takes place every winter, and this year the gates will be open for six weeks between November 2023 and January 2024. Gates will be open between 10am and 10pm daily throughout.

The magical festive event covers 350 acres right in the middle of London's iconic Hyde Park, the British capital's most famous green space, so you can't miss it - crowds will be coming and going for the entire time it's open!

Be sure to book your tickets in advance when they go on sale, to avoid the crowds and getting to all of the attractions at the time that suits you best!

As we mentioned, you should pre-book your tickets to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland to ensure smooth entry at a predetermined time - but it's worth noting, the attractions and food/drink within will cost extra, so make sure you're prepared for additional spending!

All of the entrances to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland are accessible and step free, using the park's own tarmacked paths. Once you are through the gates, you'll find that the event area is covered entirely in a temporary trackway, meaning easy accessibility for those who require it. There will be accessible toilets too.

When travelling to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, customers are advised to plan ahead, try and travel at quieter times and check before you travel - Central London is pretty busy!

Finally, if you want to go as a large group - think Christmas party or extended family events - Hyde Park Winter Wonderland offers a 10% ticket discount for groups of 20 or more attendees.

We suggest taking public transport, particularly London Underground - Central London is super busy and taxis aren't necessarily the fastest option.

The nearest tube stations are: Victoria, Bond Street, Green Park, Paddington, Knightsbridge, Marble Arch, Hyde Park Corner.

If you want to stay within walking distance of Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, then a room at Central Park Hotel will do you good.

Closer still is the Mercure London Hyde Park Hotel, less than a 10-minute walk from the nearest entrance to the park.
