There's no official map or plan of the park. If you ask the information center at the entrance, rather than the first staff member who says there are no maps, they'll give you a printed map in English. They'll also offer to download the app. We don't recommend it, as the map is very inconvenient. It flips when you zoom in. It also relies on internet access, and there's no Wi-Fi on the grounds, only at the entrance. The lines move surprisingly quickly. The longest line was about an hour. Don't miss any of the shows—they're the park's main draw. The rides are all very similar in format, just in different locations. There are a couple of interesting slides: a water slide, a fun slide, and one on the big mountain. Compared to DisneySea, there are many more rides. Although the area is smaller, you'll be less tired from walking. And the price is the same. For adults, these aren't rides, but an opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of childhood and have a good cry. For average children - both, for very young children - very difficult and tiring.

If you want to catch the full parade, try to grab a spot around the plaza in front of the castle or along the parade route. If you’d rather avoid the biggest crowds, you could also head towards the end of the parade route, where wait times are usually a bit shorter.

I booked the Standard Room with Queen Bed as I was worried that the Standard Room with Single Bed would be too cramped. I'm glad I made that decision. At about 20sq.m., the room is spacious and comfortable enough for one person but may be slightly cramped for a couple. Then again, hotel rooms in Japan tend to be small in general. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the amenities were sufficient. The lobby of the hotel is located on the 16/F of the building, and the guestrooms are located from 17/F up, so you get a very nice view of the Ginza area.
I didn't try the breakfast on this trip, but I've heard nice things about that. Will definitely try that next time.

Location: Very close to Ikebukuro West Exit, near Lumine and Tobu Department Store. It's also convenient to cross Ikebukuro Station to shop in Ikebukuro East. The Yamanote Line makes it easy to get to Shinjuku, Harajuku, Akihabara, and Ginza, all within 20-30 minutes.
Cleanliness: I'd give it a 90. The room was cleaned daily.
Service: Excellent! Check-in and check-out were very quick. Even more convenient, you can buy airport bus tickets directly at the hotel, and the bus picks you up right outside. An Indian staff member even helped with luggage. I specifically chose this hotel with an airport bus stop because I bought a lot of large items this trip.
It's worth mentioning that in the early hours of August 23rd (late evening on the 22nd), there was a 5.9 magnitude earthquake in Tokyo. Being on the 16th floor, the shaking was quite severe and lasted for nearly 2 minutes. The in-room broadcast gave earthquake warnings three times, each in four languages! However, because there wasn't a stronger tremor, apart from informing us that the elevators were stopped and to stay away from windows, we weren't asked to evacuate to the ground. The 30-meter sky pool and Japanese hot springs are truly a dream. The service is incredibly attentive, almost as if they can read your mind, and breakfast is exquisite and delicious. I booked two separate stays at this hotel because I spent one night at Tokyo Disney; the hotel’s willingness to hold our luggage for a day until the next check-in was a big part of why I chose it. The location is excellent — very close to a JR station — which makes it extremely convenient for anyone planning to travel beyond central Tokyo or transfer to other regions.
The lobby leave a good first impression. The lobby is spacious, well maintained, and feels appropriately upscale for a four-star property. That contrast becomes apparent, though, once you reach the guest room. The room’s design feels dated: the bed linens were clean and comfortable, but the sofa and carpet showed noticeable wear and grime. I’d recommend keeping slippers on if you walk in the room.
One notable amenity gap is that there’s no microwave available in the public areas of the main tower. The hotel may be discouraging in-room reheating because it offers numerous restaurants and probably prefers guests to dine on-site; still, in Japan you’ll inevitably end up with tasty takeout or convenience-store finds you might want to reheat, so the lack of a microwave is an inconvenience for some travelers.
Overall, this hotel is especially well suited to people who need easy access to transportation and plan to travel to places outside Tokyo. If your itinerary is focused on getting around the region, its location and luggage service make it a solid choice. However, if your trip is all about exploring Tokyo itself and you prioritize a fresher room and more complete in-room amenities, you may find better value elsewhere. I’ve stayed at some of three-star Tokyo hotels that felt cleaner and offered more complete facilities. For me, the drawbacks were enough that I don’t plan to stay here again.FromPLN 281

Take the Yurikamome Line to Daiba Station, and it's a 3-5 minute walk to the hotel. You even get sea views along the way. Downstairs, there's an Airport Limousine bus that goes directly to Haneda and Narita airports, which is super convenient when you're traveling with luggage.

This deserves high praise – it's right in the heart of Odaiba. You can walk to Fuji TV, Joypolis (Sega Amusements), and the Gundam statue at DiverCity. Aqua City is right downstairs, so dining and shopping are a breeze. It’s perfect for families with kids or young travelers.

Our first stop in Tokyo, the Imperial Hotel, brought many pleasant surprises. The hotel's decor has a classic, aged feel, which might not immediately impress at first glance.
The bathtub in the room fills up very quickly, perfectly showcasing the Japanese bathing culture. The architectural style is retro, yet it's fully equipped with modern amenities like lighting, smart curtains, and control panels, creating a distinctive blend of old and new. The staff are attentive and polite, and fresh flowers are always on display throughout the hotel, adding to its elegant and vibrant old-money atmosphere.
The buffet breakfast is very popular, requiring a queue as reservations are not accepted. However, the quality of the food is excellent, with every dish meeting à la carte restaurant standards. Room and bed were very comfortable, immaculately clean and modern. 2 mins walk from train station, if you need lift access to train then a 6 mins walk, we had a stroller.
Breakfast was a bit of a zoo, we went during Christmas, very busy! But tables were spacious so even though there were so many people you don’t feel cramped. Good variety of food selection. We had dinner at the Japanese teppanyaki restaurant. Delicious, especially the tuna salad.
I found the lobby staff a little lack of personality, at check in, no mentioning of where breakfast will be, what time check out is. Just checked you in and that’s it, no personal notes in the room. When I expressed I’ve lost my phone at the shop in Tokyo, no sign of empathy (it was a western male staff) no gesture of helpfulness, very cold and robotic. This goes for concierge also, he is an older western gentleman, he needs to use Google translate also which is frustrating cause I could do exactly the same research with Google translate.
Overall, hardware is solid, need to fine tune the staff, sprinkle a little bit of personality in them.FromPLN 897

The hotel's location and surroundings are excellent. The only minor inconvenience was having to walk all the way around to access the garden downstairs; I'm not sure if we just missed a more direct entrance. On our second day in Tokyo, we experienced a typhoon with strong winds and heavy rain, but the soundproofing in the room was so good we couldn't hear a thing – it was incredibly quiet. Though small, this hotel has everything you need. Its Ginza location is incredibly convenient, perfect for shopping or quickly getting to Narita Airport via the expressway.
What truly impressed me is how many features are packed into such a compact space. They have a coin-operated laundry and a large public bath. The room, which I'd estimate at about 20 square meters, even managed to fit bunk beds (1.2m/1.5m), making it very family-friendly.
A minor point is that since the hotel is directly above the subway, you occasionally feel vibrations as trains pass. This led to a funny moment when an actual earthquake hit at night, and I initially thought it was just another train going by!FromPLN 199

[HOSHINOYA Tokyo: A Vertical Ryokan Experience]
HOSHINOYA Tokyo offers a truly unique concept. It is a traditional Japanese ryokan built vertically within a modern skyscraper, located in the prestigious Otemachi district. It provides a serene, luxurious escape right in the middle of the bustling city, perfectly blending classic ryokan hospitality with world-class modern design. We enjoyed a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the property from 29 May to 31 May. We chose not to make any meal reservations, which gave us the flexibility to simply relax and explore the surrounding city.
[Getting There]
We travelled from Fufu Hakone via a day trip to Enoshima and Kamakura. We took a direct train from Kamakura to Tokyo Station, followed by a short walk to the hotel, and arrived at around 8:00 PM. To make the transit completely effortless, our luggage was picked up and delivered directly to the hotel by LuggAgent on the same day.
[Arrival and Check-In]
The hotel is situated in the central business district and distinctly stands out from the surrounding buildings. The discreet entrance completely shields you from the busy streets. Upon entering, staff immediately store your shoes, as the entire tatami-matted building operates on a barefoot or socks-only policy. We were incredibly lucky to catch a traditional jap instrument performance, which is usually reserved for weekends. A designated staff member managed our check-in with welcome snack & tea and escorted us to level 15. A major highlight is the exclusive lounge on each floor, shared by only 6 suites. It functions as a private living room, fully stocked with complimentary seasonal teas, coffees, and traditional snacks.
[The Suite]
We stayed in the Sakura suite. Rather than trying to describe the beautiful layout in words, I will let my photos speak for themselves. The beds are low to the floor with a mid-level hardness that we found quite comfortable, and each bed comes with two soft pillows. There is also a television cleverly hidden behind a mirror, though it is worth noting that it only broadcasts Japanese channels. We kept it switched off to maintain the consistent traditional ryokan feel. The provided yukata is absolutely superb. It comes as a full set complete with an inner layer, an outer layer, socks, and a small handbag. The material is soft, stretchy, and incredibly comfortable for lounging and walking around the property.
[The Top-Floor Onsen]
Having a natural hot spring in central Tokyo is a rare luxury. The onsen is located on the 17th floor and features a stunning design where the roof is open to the sky. As cameras are strictly prohibited, you will have to visualise it or check the hotel website for gallery photos. I understand that the bath is a salty hot spring containing a high concentration of seawater and seaweed minerals trapped deep in the ground. Soaking in this soothing water gently embraces the skin and helps alleviate fatigue in both body and mind. The onsen is open daily from 3:00 PM to 11:30 AM. It was the absolute perfect way to warm up and recharge before we headed out for a busy day.
[Areas for Improvement]

Review: Remm Roppongi (レム六本木)
Our stay at Remm Roppongi was very enjoyable and a great base for exploring Tokyo. The hotel’s location is absolutely one of its biggest strengths — it’s just steps from Roppongi Station, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and nightlife, and in a vibrant part of the city that’s easy to explore on foot or by subway.
The rooms are clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with free Wi-Fi and comfort in mind. Although the rooms are on the smaller side, as is common in Tokyo, clever layout and features like a massage chair made the space very comfortable for relaxing after long days of sightseeing.
One of the memorable parts of our stay was the night view — higher-floor rooms offer beautiful city and Tokyo Tower views, which was a highlight of the experience.
The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to help with requests, and check-in/out was smooth. Guest reviews consistently praise how attentive and polite the team is.
Breakfast (optional buffet) has a nice variety and was delicious — a great way to start the day before heading out.
On the flip side, there’s no bathtub in most rooms, so if you really want a bath it might not be ideal, and the hotel doesn’t have extensive facilities like a spa or gym — but for a city stay where the focus is exploring Tokyo, it’s perfect.
Overall, Remm Roppongi offers excellent comfort, great convenience, and a high-quality experience for a business or leisure trip in Tokyo, especially if you value location and a modern, comfortable room to return to each evening.FromPLN 278

The room had everything I needed. And the bed was comfortable. The hotel has a laundry area, so I was able to wash and dry clothes. There was also a microwave in the lounge room, which came in handy on days I didn’t want to eat out.
There are a few convenience stores close by, with a 7-eleven next door.
It was really easy to walk to the metro lines and Kanda station was well linked to the rest of the city.

Stayed for four nights and was very satisfied. The front desk staff spoke good English and were friendly. The room wasn't small for Tokyo, and the booth seating was very convenient. They provided various skincare products and mineral water, which were replenished daily. On the 14th floor, there's a tea break area with free cookies and drinks, and also a spa, though the prices are quite expensive compared to back home. The room had a fridge, safe, and iron, and the view was excellent. I heard some rooms even have a view of Tokyo Tower. The breakfast had a wide variety. If you're a Hilton Diamond member, definitely don't book through Trip.com, otherwise, you won't get any upgrade benefits. The main issue is that I've always been able to use them in the US. If I hadn't thought I could get an upgrade, I would have chosen the Imperial instead of coming here. Trip.com should also have a disclaimer in their description. Plus, I stayed for three days, and on the second day, after I came back from shopping, neither my room key nor electronic key worked. Keep in mind that at Conrad, you have to take two elevators to get from the entrance to your room, and they assigned me a room furthest from the elevator. I had to drag a bunch of shopping bags all the way to the front desk to get a new room key. At breakfast in the morning, I ordered à la carte, and they completely forgot my order. Everyone around me had finished eating, and when I asked the server, she had forgotten about it! All in all, the service at the Imperial is still better~FromPLN 1,054

The service was incredible. We were greeted at every turn with kindness and professionalism. Our only request would be that our 14yo mature daughter could have swam in the pool (it’s 18+ which we didn’t know until we tried to swim.) A few standouts where the hotel team went “above and beyond”: the superb cleanliness of our room, the porter and bellhop service, the concierge personally walking us down to the ballroom to ask if we could get spectator ballroom competition tickets last minute, the team allowing us to be seated us at breakfast at 10:27am when we were mistakenly told on the “express line” that it was served until 11am; and then even re-opening the omelette station for us. And finally, helping us reclaim a missing object left at our breakfast table—about 6 people jumped in to help us and saved the day!
