Almost always stay here now when visiting Tokyo. Great location, great connectivity, good size rooms. Has everything you need from a hotel and service is friendly. Great prices too given the price inflation in Tokyo.

As for the hotel, above and beyond service and friendly environment! Walking distance to public transportation and shops.

It's located at a quieter part of IKB, but still near to metro station, eateries, malls, and convenience stores.

What I love:
Next to Lumine and Tobu departmental stores
Kombini within hands reach
Within 400m from Ikebukuro Metro
Very committed staff, fantastic hospitality
Rooms are clean & modern
Breakfast buffet was pretty extensive
What I do not love:
Thin walls - no insulation from corridoor noise
Smoking floors - although mine was a non-smoking room, I was initially checked into a smoking floor (bad smell lingered at the lift landing and corridor, to my horror), which I had then requested a change of rooms because the a/c blew out musky compromised air, and so my request for a change of rooms was done immediately without hesitation by the front desk. Avoid level 6 because that’s the smoking floor.
