Predictably, there was a line. We thought we'd get in early. But some country's leader was visiting and they blocked all the entrances. We had to make a big detour. It ended up being an hour and a half in the scorching sun, and then we got in. We didn't find the treasury. By the time we got there, it was already closed. We only managed to see the clock and the city itself along the central alley. But we got the general impression.

A busy time of year but our tour guide led us well and kept us on task. I was disappointed to not have enough time for the clock and treasures museums. They cost us extra and we didn’t get to enjoy them. Just do the tour and skip the extras or go check out the park.

A couple of the rides are very large and beautiful. There are 16 rides in the park in total. The Harry Potter zone and Jurassic Park are the top attractions. Personally, I liked the Transformers theme park better. What's most impressive is that all this beauty was built in just three years. It's mind-boggling. But there's a silver lining in every barrel of honey... The lines at this park are simply gigantic. Without fast passes, you might not be able to ride even half the rides. At the top auctions, the lines reached 100 minutes. And the ride itself lasts no more than 1.5 minutes. So, is the park worth visiting? Absolutely! Is it worth getting a fast pass? If you're going in season, it's definitely worth it! This is the only way you'll enjoy the park and not be exhausted by lunchtime.

Don’t forget to take passport. Entering via passport and face scan. Cheaper than entrance park ticket

Review: The park exceeded all expectations! It's huge, modern, and very clean. If you love high-quality rides and immersive experiences with your favorite movies, this is the place for you. What we liked most: Harry Potter Zone: Absolutely stunning! Hogwarts Castle looks majestic, and the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride is a technological masterpiece. Be sure to try the butterbeer. Jurassic World: The sets are incredibly cool and well-designed, and the Jurassic Flyers ride is a fantastic adrenaline rush. Kung Fu Panda Zone: Fully covered, which was a relief from the midday heat. Perfect for families with children. Water World Show: Amazing stunts, explosions, and acting. I recommend sitting in the blue seats if you want to stay dry, and the green seats if you're ready to get wet! Helpful travel tips: Park app: Download the official Universal Beijing app in advance. You can see a map and actual wait times there.

We arrived at the park at 12:00 and skipped the line altogether, heading straight to the Harry Potter area. We immediately grabbed a butterbeer. It was delicious, but not worth 50 yuan a glass. The line for the hippogriff was 15 minutes, and the line for the castle was about 40-50 minutes, but it didn't feel like it at all since we spent the entire time looking at what was on display. Generally, all the lines at Universal are a million times easier to endure than at Disneyland. It felt like there were a few less people.

I liked the Universal Resort. It's a shame I bought the ticket in advance and it was so expensive. The day before and early in the morning, you could get a 30-40 percent discount, which is significant for two people. In the park itself, I liked Hogwarts and the village of Hogsmeade. For Harry Potter fans, it's a true immersion into a fairy tale. You can feel a little like you're in that world. Jurassic World is overrated: there are always long lines, and you only get to ride for a minute or two. Transformers has two rides: one for kids and one really extreme, for those looking for an adrenaline rush. Overall, it's a great place to spend a great day.
