NUO Resort Hotel-Universal Beijing Resort

When I visited Universal Studios Beijing this time, after doing my research and comparing options, I chose NUO Hotel, and it turns out I made the right choice. Don't let the seemingly greater distance from Universal Studios Hotel deter you; it's actually just a five-minute walk across the street. The room was twice the size, the slippers were incredibly comfortable, and they provided ten small bottles of water plus one large bottle daily... I was truly impressed. I bought a package that included a two-day, one-night stay + double breakfast + 1.5-day park tickets + early park access. This was absolutely worth it. Buying the tickets separately would cost around a thousand yuan, and with early access, it would be about 1,500 yuan. Deducting the breakfast cost, the room itself was effectively only a little over a thousand yuan... and it was so comfortable that I even extended my stay for another day. The extended stay didn't come with complimentary tickets, though, and cost 2,700 yuan. If I had to point out a flaw, it would be how difficult the toiletries were to squeeze out. As someone who works in the skincare and personal care industry, I truly believe such product design shouldn't be found in a five-star hotel... What's going on? Are they trying to prevent guests from using them? The breakfast was unbeatable! I loved the smoked salmon. The restaurant offered a good variety, and the taste was excellent with high-quality fruit. Five-star rating!

The room facilities are definitely better than a big hotel, but the location is a bit far. You can't park in the underground garage; you have to walk up after parking... Even more ridiculous are the hotel's services and rules. I requested a late check-out since I checked in late and the hotel wasn't fully booked the next day, but I was told it wasn't allowed and that I'd be charged for half a day if I overstayed. There's absolutely no thoughtful understanding you'd expect from a resort hotel. Also, at the first-floor pool, I showed my room number and key card, and signed the registration form, but the front desk said it wasn't enough and insisted on verifying each person's information individually... What kind of absurd behavior is this? I'm here to stay at a hotel, not to be interrogated. I wouldn't recommend this for families with kids; the big hotel next door is better.

The room decor was simple and convenient, very clean, and had no strange odors. It's a bit away from the park, so it's not noisy. The hotel staff were attentive and enthusiastic. The lobby bar and breakfast selection were rich and delicious. We got into the park an hour early, which made it easy to re-ride our favorite attractions. The kids had a great time, highly recommend it!

Traveling with kids to Universal during the summer, I compared Universal's two hotels. Ultimately, I wanted a more comfortable, spacious, and better environment, so we chose Nuo Hotel. It proved to be the right decision. As soon as we entered, staff immediately helped with our luggage and proactively inquired about our needs. The front desk agent who checked us in was excellent; he proactively upgraded our room and helped us adjust our breakfast dates, as I had mistakenly booked breakfast for the wrong day. The hotel offers early park access, an hour before opening. We had breakfast at 7 AM, entered the park at 8 AM, and by 9 or 10 AM, we had already ridden three major attractions that usually have hour-long waits. So, the room rate, despite its price, was quite worthwhile. For over 2,000 during the summer, we found the service, bedding, and breakfast to all exceed our expectations. It was a very pleasant experience. The experience was superb, and next time we stay at Universal, we will definitely choose Nuo Hotel again.

The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean. There's a huge TV where you can watch Universal cartoons and movies. The toiletries are great, in bottles instead of sachets. There are adult and children's robes and slippers in the room. The mini-bar has Coke, Sprite, Schweppes, and water. Breakfast is excellent: fresh and ripe fruit, lots of pastries, eggs, sausages, cold cuts, cheeses, and red fish. It's definitely worth the money. We had a package with 1.5-day tickets, but note that it only allows one adult and one child under 12 to enter after 2 PM on the check-in day and for the entire next day. Since my daughter was 13, we bought an extra ticket right away at the counter next to the reception. We wanted to buy express passes for the rides, but the lady at the counter said there weren't many people and it wasn't worth it. A huge thank you to her for that! The early entry hour is very convenient. We entered through the VIP entrance and managed to ride 3 of the most popular attractions during that time. So, I think booking a room with all these perks is definitely justified.

Bringing my kid to Universal Studios was a blast, and early park access was a lifesaver! We played in the morning, came back for a nap, and thanks to Liu Jiahao, we got a late check-out, so we were fully recharged to go back to the park in the afternoon. This time, we got a buy-one-get-one-free deal on tickets. We'll definitely stay here again next time!

This was my second stay at NUO, last time was just one night, and this time was two nights. Pros: 1. The room is really spacious with a well-designed layout. The toilet and shower are separate. 2. The room service auntie was very friendly. Beijing is dry, so she gave us lots and lots of water. 3. The breakfast at Yuan Teahouse is excellent, especially the pastries (the laminated ones are incredibly delicious). 4. The service attitude is great. On the way to the subway station, there's a really long staircase. A staff member helped us carry our luggage down without a second thought. Cons: 1. The showerhead in the bathroom was a bit clogged, causing uneven water flow. 2. The shampoo/conditioner bottles were difficult to dispense from. 3. The hairdryer was an old, heavy model. Even on the highest heat and strongest setting, it took over 10 minutes to dry my short hair to about 60%. 4. The air conditioning was insufficient; I woke up hot in the middle of the night on both nights.

Fantastic experience! 👍 We're back at Universal Studios once again, and this time we chose the NUO Resort Hotel. They offer early park access, which is a huge plus. First off, the lobby staff were incredibly warm and friendly, proactively asking about our needs. The in-room dining service was very professional; from the tableware and presentation to the dishes themselves, everything was impeccably done and quite impressive! 😍 Housekeeping was also very prompt, and we even received a cute panda dessert upon check-in 😊 We'll definitely be back next time! 👏🏻

The room was great, and the spa was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. However, the takeaway locker is inconveniently located; you get wet if it rains when picking up food. On the plus side, it's very close to Universal Studios.
