The terraced fields, air and scenery outside are all nice, but it’s a little far from the city, and many taxis think it’s too far (they can only do one business). Next time I will have the chance to come again in June-October and see more beautiful scenery.
I booked this homestay/ hotel through a review from a traveller where they wanted a place to relax and sleep soundly at night and not bothered by bustling sounds of noisy city. As a mountain girl at heart I am really looking forward to go to this place and walah the place is Soo amazing. The mountain view, the freshness of the air, the cleanliness of the place blows my mind. Staffs are very accomodating and the manager Thoung Hin is very helpful throughout my stay. If I comeback to sapa will definitely book this hotel again. 🫰❤️
D Home Sapa 2 – A Cozy Retreat in Sapa
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at D Home Sapa 2 due to its inviting and stylish ambiance. The self-check-in and check-out process was seamless, with clear instructions provided. The reception staff were prompt and helpful in addressing my inquiries. She even offers me help on booking sleeper busses and fansipan trains and cable car. Although the on-site staffs communicated via a translator, they were exceptionally kind and attentive.
Location Insights
The location offered both convenience and some challenges. There are two routes to the plaza area:
Bottom Route: This path features a concrete ramp suitable for luggage, leading to the D Home 2 entrance in about 3 minutes. It's also close to Moanaa Cafe, making it a pleasant walk.
Top Route: This route involves navigating approximately 100 stairs, which can be strenuous. However, for us, it was manageable and didn't detract from the overall experience.
Despite the stairs, the affordable rates and breathtaking room views made it worthwhile. Alternatively, you can exit from the bottom and opt for a Grab or taxi to reach the plaza.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I was deeply satisfied with my stay. The room was not only beautiful and cozy but also impeccably clean. The staff's warmth and hospitality enhanced the experience. D Home 2 significantly contributed to the memorable moments of my trip to Sapa. I look forward to returning soon! 🥰
The rooms are as shown in the photo. The rooms and entire place is also very clean. The breakfast is affordable and simple but very good. The atmosphere of the place is also very friendly and the boss is extremely friendly and jokes around with you to make you feel welcomed. He also helps with tips on where to go, what to do and eat around Sapa. Will be booking again when I visit SaPa again
We had an absolutely amazing stay at Sapa Sinai Homestay Hotel. The view from our bungalow was simply breathtaking — waking up to the stunning mountain scenery was a highlight of our trip. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable, offering a perfect blend of charm and tranquillity.
Breakfast each morning was delicious, with a good variety of options to suit all tastes. What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was the incredible hospitality. Our host went above and beyond — helping us book attraction tickets, recommending the best local spots to visit, and even arranging taxis for us at very reasonable prices. Her kindness and attention to detail really made us feel at home.
We would absolutely love to stay here again and can’t recommend it highly enough to anyone visiting Sapa!
Typecal hmongs' hotel, simple but very beautiful. The price is really nice but the amenities are good. The mattress is a little bit hard but I think I can accept it. My room has a balcony, I can see the city view, enjoy it.
First of all, thank you Ctrip. I didn't expect it to be so convenient and easy to use abroad. Secondly, this hotel is really great. It's incredible, such a low price, such a good environment and service. I've stayed in so many hotels, but only this one feels like I owe the owner, because it feels like he's just doing charity and really doesn't make any money. Even with this price, they give me a delicious breakfast. You can say that you get breakfast when you book a room, or you can say that you get a room when you eat breakfast. In short, this hotel is worth recommending. It's only one kilometer away from the city center. Tourists from all over the world come here to stay. You can make friends from all over the world here. They come from all over the world and it's very interesting to get together. Stay at his house in Sabah, you will never be disappointed.
The view is good, but the rooms are not particularly clean. There is a lot of humidity and a strange smell. The breakfast does not include any drinks, and you can choose between one serving of rice, noodles, or dumplings. I believe that you can find better alternatives for the same price in Sapa. The staff does not speak English.
The accommodation is clean, the room is clean, there is a hair dryer, air conditioner, bleach, hot water, good service, the owner is kind and can communicate in English very well. But the only downside is that I stayed on the third floor, there is no elevator, I have to walk up and down. If you have a big bag, you have to carry it up, it's quite heavy. The owner also recommended places to visit.

HHazyzPros
- Smooth liaising with the hotel through WhatsApp/instagram & trip.com itself even before our trip, very responsive & helpful in answering our queries & concerns
- We arrived in Sapa early in the morning & appreciate that we're able to check in early
- The room was very clean & cozy
- Friendly receptionist that catered to our needs
- Excellent service with morning call & offer for bellboy service to carry our luggages up to the lobby when we had to check out much earlier
- Room cleanup service was quick but also unexpected, as we went for breakfast & came back to a cleaned room. It would be nice if laxsik had a door tag for us to indicate if we wanted 'room service' or not
- We had to check out quite early in the morning, laxsik offered to give us a complete set of takeaway breakfast with fruits, sandwiches & bottled water
Cons
- We stayed in the family bungalow with 2 bedrooms & bathrooms, there was no shower gel for one of the rooms & no conditioner for the other room, it would be great if both rooms had the same amenities
- Some tiles on the bathroom ceiling of house 10 were not intact completely hence it felt unsafe & cold air seeped in which turned the bathroom very chilly
Overall we had a pleasant stay at laxsik despite the view being blocked by the fog for most of our stay, the accommodations made up for it. Do take note that it is a 10-15mins drive to Sapa town so expect to pay 200,000 vnd for a taxi. The receptionist will help you book a driver if you aren't able to get a Grab from accommodations to town. Getting Grab from Sapa town to the accommodations was quite easy. The fireplace in the lodge is highly recommended if you are staying during the cold season! We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and warmed our hearts and bodies.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located on the main street right next to the market, and about 20mins walk from the town, perfect if you are a market person.
Communication with the hotel is mainly via Google translate, all requests were honoured just needed a little patience and understanding when communicating with them.
There's all the basic amenities you need without frills. It's definitely a bargain to get your own room with a private toilet.
IisadoraExcellent, memorable stay with D Home. They were so accommodating, friendly and considerate.
Very responsive. They assisted or guided us well from our Bus trip from Hanoi to Sapa, our hotel check in and all the minor issues encountered during the stay.
The place is very convenient, near to some tiktok famous hotels and cafes too. You get a nice view of the train. Near to Sun Plaza. Everything is good.

ZZoeVHWe had such a lovely stay at the Sapa Farmstay! The local family running the establishment is warm, friendly, and hospitable. We ate dinner with them twice—the food was beyond delicious and fresh, and I loved the family-style atmosphere during mealtime.
The rooms were just like the photos: comfy, clean, and well-decorated, with plenty of hotel-style amenities! The only minor drawback was the hot water…it was quite cold in Sapa during our visit in January, and the hot water never lasted more than 3 minutes or so during showers. This was a minor issue, though, and we will for sure re-book when we return to Sapa again!
GGuest UserIf you want to spend part of your trip in a quiet Taban, I definitely recommend it. Among Taban homestays, it is clean, friendly, and quiet. You can also enjoy delicious local food at this restaurant and trekking in a quiet Hmong village. It will be a very unique experience. The owner speaks English well and will provide you with a taxi call, meal, and trekking course. Please receive the service. It was so quiet that I stayed for 2 nights. I highly recommend Taban travel when you come to Sapa.
GGuest UserFirstly, the staff are friendly and helpful, you can be put in touch with a good driver for transport, book fansipan mount and just ask them for more info. The rates are inexpensive so it is fair value. Better heating would be nice, it was just adequate on what was a cold week with temperatures of 8-11 degress celcius, which was unseasonal. There are restaurants, cafes, atm's and a laundry all just minutes away at most. If you want a budget stay or last minute booking as it was for me, it was the right place. The views from the balcony to your door was rasther nice.
