Gwandeok Stay

The landlady, though couldn't speak even a single Engish word, was really friendly and supportive. The room and public amenities were all very clean and spacious. It's located in the center of Jeju city, 15 mins by bus from Jeju international airport, and you can find it right on the big road. You can walk to the markets, shopping malls, and lighthouses nearby. Really worth the money.

The location is good, next to various restaurants and convenience stores, the waiters are all Chinese, the room is cleaned once a day, it is very clean, I stayed in Seoul, Busan, and Jeju for 10 days in Korea, this is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in, the price is also very affordable

Although the hotel is old, it is cheap and the location is excellent. The business district is nearby. It is convenient to eat and don't worry. The most suitable arrangement for the last day of the trip is to buy a letter at Dongmen Market near Qixing Street. In terms of facilities, the TV in the room is always larger than the hotel of the same level. Basically there are facilities in the hotel. This old hotel can provide good.

Although not very new place, the location is really good, quiet and comfortable. The house is very clean and tidy, toothbrush, toothpaste and toiletries will be given to you, there is also a basic water lotion hairspray in the house, etc. Played in Jeju Island for more than a week, stayed in three hotels, this is the most satisfying! The big sister at the front desk is not very Chinese, but tell her your order number to take the key, the person is also very kind

Old hotel in a great location - busy intersection. Walkable to waterfall and to market. The basement carpark is a godsend. We were so happy to be able to park in the basement then take the lift direct to our room. Its so helpful on rainy days. If you do not speak Korean, and your rental vehicle GPS cannot locate the hotel it can be very tricky. Our GPS pointed us to a carpark space behind the hotel and it was difficult navigating out. It was lucky that we recognise the building exterior. In Jeju, most smaller hotels will not put their English names on the building, so either you memorize the Korean name or you have to try your luck. The room is small, but expected as the room rate is low. So taper your expectations and you will love it.

The landlord’s aunt is super good. I stayed for two days. Breakfast starts at 8 o’clock. Every day, the side dishes are not heavy. Except for the spicy cabbage, Su Ziye, and the radish strips are salty. The other side dishes are the king. They are all made by the aunt herself. It’s really delicious. Every morning, I have a CD-ROM. Quadruple room. Very clean, toiletries are available, hot water is sufficient, central air conditioning, a total of four rooms, each room has a separate bathroom, on the second floor, may be off-season, in short, very quiet, poor travel strong push!

I booked in this hotel cause I wanted to rest on a quiet place with ocean view at an affordable price, and that's exactly what I got. The room was very clean and spacious, the washroom too. The staff was friendly. There's restaurants in walking distance, as well as cafes and convinience stores. I imagine the hotel is even better for summer stays, since when I stayed it was winter and very windy, and the windows aren't properly sealed so some breeze gets through it at times. Nevertheless, I enjoy my stay, it was the best I had on my budget trip of one month through Korea. The only real complain would be the very late check in time of 5pm, although they allow to drop the luggage earlier. I'd definitely stay here again.

Great location! Many restaurants and shops around. As well as famous night market, BR, Olive young and bus stations. The check in and check out are through a machine. There’s no front desk or receptionist. The idea is good, it should make check in faster. But we didn’t know how to start the process. So were pressing different buttons on the screen and phone number. Untill now I still don’t know how we managed to have a lady to speak to us from that machine. The first room was smelly from smoking, so they actually very quick changed us the room. It’s clean, and amenities are nice (a bag with a mask and other small things). To check out we just put the room card on top of that machine.

This is a hotel recommended by others in their travel notes. We arrived at the hotel at 23:00 for a temporary stay. The floor heating was very warm and the room was very large. The wash basin we stayed in was leaking, but we didn't care. We just made do with it for one night. When we turned right, there was a busy pedestrian street with many delicious foods. If possible, bring your own disposable four-piece suit.

Such a joy staying here! I only wish I could have stayed longer. I booked 3 different hotels in Jeju and I regret that I didn’t book all my nights in Mir Guesthouse. I wanted to meet the owner but I didn’t get the chance. Nonetheless, my stay was delightful. The staff were friendly and the facilities are very well maintained. I celebrated my birthday eve here with the coolest people too! Plus, the location is about a 5-minute drive and it’s also a 2-minute walk to the coast to see Yongduam rock. It’s a beautiful sight! Will book again in a heartbeat 😊. Thanks Mir Guesthouse! God bless you.
