Good sized double room and bathroom. Generally all was as expected, and although housekeeping did not come in to refresh supplies, I could easily obtain more teabags etc in the reception area. I was surprised there was no bath mat, thus the bathroom floor became quite wet unnecessarily. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and I would recommend this hotel for it’s location.

Sadly had three rooms due to some issues reguardless how clean they were and a smell coming from the bathroom, third room was ok and had a nice view over looking the sea and Scarborough harbour, pool and spa a nice touch and the staff were all friendly plenty of choice on the menu for food, just needs to address a few issues to make this worthy of it's 4 star rating and that to me should be considered luxury where as this felt more just above average but not luxury 3.5 / 5 location amazing staff amazing let down by the fire alarm going off which steam was to blame air vents were dirty this needs looking at, house keeping need to work more alongside maintenance to ensure issues are addressed. Safe in second room was broken but maintenance did sort this and were very friendly, reception and spa staff all excellent, can't comment on the food but had plenty of choice and had we not made plans we would of considered the curry night the hotel had on. Over all 3.5 / 5

All hotels in this town are not bad in terms of appearance, but due to the long development time, many hotels are actually very old. There is an excellent viewing platform on the first floor of this hotel. Open the door and directly face the town and the sea. It should be the best viewing area. The hotel itself is relatively clean and tidy, but it is indeed too old, including doors, beds, cupboards and dressing tables or hair dryers. If you just rest for one night, then a single room is okay, but it is recommended to bring windows. Although it is old, it is more It is clean and has windows. It feels like when you were a child. Although it is very old, it is very practical and you will not be afraid to live alone. If there are two people, I personally suggest that you can choose the most expensive sea view room. One is that the view angle can crush other hotels, and the other is that the cost is also cheap, and two people are still fine. The service is very welcoming, and the restaurants are on the beach.
