We were dissappointed in the car parking situation. It wasn't exactly made clear that you need to drive into where it was marked exit and press for them to lift the barrier. Then unfortunately there was no room so had to call into reception to find out where we could park it was a bit stressful and could have been avoided. The hotel itself is very secure as you need to press for access to the entrance. Once up to reception on the first floor we were welcomed and allocated a room. The room was very tired with marked and scratched walls and ceiling. The bathroom had all the ususl facilities but a great big crack was in the tiles on the floor about two and half feet long. The shower head was dirty and the bottom of the main door was peeling away. The bed was two single mattresses put together which were obviously well used and meant there was a bump in between which wasnt very comfy. The bar was expensive for drinks and the staff seemed to multitask serving and cleaning tables etc. Some of the same staff were at breakfast and it just felt a bit overall short staffed. The breakfast itself was adequate but basic. We did notify reception on checking out of our findings as we are not usually ones to complain but the issues do make a difference and some just general maintenance.

I had asked the staff to decorate our room as a surprise for my husband for our wedding anniversary, and so much effort was put into doing this. The staff left us a card and wrote such a lovely message to complete the gesture and make it even more special. Hope you guys enjoy your mince pies and chocolate from me and hubby !! ❤️ definitely would stay again.

Weather was cold but room was warm .Left alone to *** and go as i need not having to greet owner every morning and afternoon . Overall this hotel was nice great location, also on the the beach, good transport and easy to walk to town centre, good facilities, only flaw was it was our first visit to the hotel and I booked a family of 5 room with a sea view costing 78 pounds and on arrival was given a family of 4 room with no sea view only costing 65 pounds which I know as it stated the price on the receipt I was given by reception on arrival

We had a fantastic stay for 2 nights when we recently visited Blackpool. Had breakfast included in the stay but also had dinner from the bar menu both nights (fish and chips were delicious!!!). Staff were lovely and very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Tram stop was right outside the hotel too. We’ll definitely be staying here on our next visit and I would 100% recommend to anyone else planning a trip to Blackpool.

Great location on seafront, easy parking £5 until midday next day. Good buffet breakfast with vegetarian options in a dining room with sea view. Rooms are noisy, very thin walls and you can hear every word of people walking past in the corridor so take earplugs. Would stay again though, the staff are all very good and the place is nice and clean.

The Blackpool Grand Hotel is a very large hotel and very easy to find, so I thought it was a safe hotel for beginners. My daughter and I stayed here overnight while she was attending a dance competition. The hotel was lovely. We were greeted with a smile by the owner, who was friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. We had a spacious, sea view room. It was clean, large enough to sleep 5. The bed was very comfortable. We had plenty of hot drink supplies. The toiletries provided were fantastic. Very happy with the price and would be happy to return in the future. Thank you Vinnie's, it's been great.

For the last minute booking was perfect. Clean,all you need in the bathroom, cofee,tea in the room. Excellent breakfast, we have been asked if we want more but it was enough for 1 person. The hotel is grand, but dated. It’s in a lovely position on the promenade and Gynn Square tram stop directly opposite. There is a Premier shop just around the corner for essential items. The room wasn’t ready, despite me being quite a bit past check in time, but the staff quickly rectified in a friendly and efficient manner. The room was adequate and clean. Great to have an iron and ironing board. Nice touch! I didn’t eat there, but had plenty of bits to make a drink in room. TV in room and felt quite at home with the distant sounds of the seagulls reminding me I was at the seaside. Happy days.

The rooms are very clean and tidy. The kitchen provides basic kitchenware. There is a stove, microwave and induction cooker. Going out is the tram stop, very convenient. I booked a 3-person accommodation, but only provided towels and bedding for two people, which was disappointing. The only concern at that time was the deposit problem. I don't know when to return it. Fortunately, after a few hours of check-out, the deposit has been returned.
