Really good value hotel at East Midlands Airport. I stayed here for one night due to its proximity to the airport. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are fairly basic, but this is a Holiday Inn Express, not a luxury hotel. The bed was comfortable and there was a hairdryer, kettle, iron and a few other features in the room. Wifi was fast and stable which is a big plus. The food is the restaurant was fairly decent and it was certainly quite busy the evening I was there. Breakfast is included for all rooms and there were plenty of hot and cold options with juices and coffees etc. OK it won't win any Michelin stars, but I was happy for the price. The hotel is around a 10 minute walk to the terminal or there is a bus stop right outside which gets there in a few minutes.

The rooms aren't modern, the walls are thin so itz very easy to hear noise. This place is an Inn, I.e somewhere to sleep after going to the pub downstairs, but for a business hotel, probably better to stay at one of the many hotels near the M1. It serves it's purpose but it wasn't for me. I stayed 3 hours, went to work and didn't bother going back.

5 minutes walk to Derby train station. The rooms and facilities are very new and clean, as if they have just been renovated. The room and bathroom are large in size, the windows can be opened, clean and comfortable, except for no refrigerator, other facilities are complete. wifi is good.

Nice hotel, clean and well kept, the staff are also really helpful, it’s in a good location in terms of being central and close to town, however is near a busy road so you do hear the cars, not majorly so, but you’re definitely aware. It had a small well equipped gym, what you’d expert for a hotel one, and the restaurant/lounge area was nice, I didn’t have any food but the coffee was good. Overall a good hotel at a decent price, I’d stay there again.

First room allocated and the tv didn’t work but staff kindly moved me to another room. Unfortunately the next morning at 8:30am there were workmen in the corridor replacing the ceiling tiles so there was loud hammering, drilling and sawing. The hotel manager refunded me 1 night stay but I don’t understand why they would use the rooms if there was repairs going on. Leaving the room I had to step over paint pots and tools.

Excellent location, just few minutes walk to the train station. Good service from the team as well. There’s microwave available in the lobby for guests to use if needed, which came in handy if you’re having a takeaway. Breakfast was also included where the variety of food available is acceptable. Stayed for two nights in this beautiful country hotel. A very warm welcome on arrival and then shown to a beautiful large room, The Kedleston. It had everything you could wish for and a very comfortable bed. I was staying to visit relatives nearby but it would make an excellent base for exploring the area. Kedleston Hall, National Trust is on the doorstep and a must to visit. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, I didn’t eat in the evenings but the menu looked really good and if breakfast was anything to go on it will be fabulous. I will definitely return to stay and also take my family to the restaurant. Thank you to all your excellent staff for a very enjoyable stay.

We recently stayed at this hotel and were very impressed by the staff — they were consistently friendly, courteous, and helpful throughout our stay. The bed was also exceptionally comfortable, which made a positive difference. However, the interior of the rooms did not quite match the photos provided online. Our group stayed in three different rooms, and unfortunately, none of the thermal meters were functioning properly. The rooms were uncomfortably hot, making it difficult to fall asleep. In my own room, the washbasin was also clogged, which caused further inconvenience.
