Set outside of Lymington, which is a 20 - 30 minute walk away. Large grounds with lawns. Outdoor pool. Children's play area. Tennis courts. Indoor pool in an separate complex that also houses the breakfast room. Both are not in keeping with the charm and style of the older main hotel. We had a bedroom in one of the outside 2-storey more modern self contained units. You have to walk outdoors to access them. Good size room. Comfortable bed. Bathroom with bath and seperate walk in shower. Heating was totally inadequate for the size of bedroom - just a very feeble electric warm air heater with no ability to increase / decrease the setting AND it kept cutting out. Would have frozen on a winter's evening! Food & drinks in the evening hotel was acceptable, but quite expensive. Breakfast in the ”spa” building was self service and chaotic. Overall paying 4* prices for a 3* facility.

The cottage has a lovely sunny patio garden with raised deck area for eating al fresco. There is a table and chairs with an umbrella and a garden seat on the patio. The garden is in the sun for almost all of the day.For cyclists and yachters there is a separate entrance which is a covered walk through to the rear of the house. It is perfect for storing all you outside equipment safely and keeping it all dry. There is a clothes line in this area for any wet weather gear.The cottage itself is a Tardis and is much larger inside than you would imagine. There is a lounge, dining area, kitchen, conservatory and a summer breakfast room leading off from the kitchen. The cottage is very warm and cosy but has a lot of living space. We have tried to offer our clients all the comforts of home and think of everything you might need to enjoy your time.Local owners on hand to offer assistance if required.Welcome pack available on request.Property has a separate locked side entrance that is fully enclosed and suitable for storing bikes, boating gear etc.Very close to town centre and a car is not necessary.The cottage has a lovely sunny patio garden with raised deck area for eating al fresco. Beaufort house is an extremely spacious, beautiful, stylish apartment on 2 floors with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bursting with character in the heart of the historic town of Lymington within the New Forest National Park.The space:Beaufort House is full of charming character with high ceilings and wooden beams, The apartment is very light and airy, with a sun trap terrace to sit out on and enjoy a coffee and some down time.We are situated on the high street above Caldwells estate agents. So right in the heart of it all.My Father purchased the property in February 2018, and together we have re-designed and refurbished with beautiful furniture, fabrics and accessories.There are two bedrooms on the second floor, one with a kingsize bed and en-suite. This room has a beautiful navy velvet headboard with a large blanket box in the same fabric, a large wardrobe and plenty of drawers to store your belongings during your stay.The second bedroom, is a cosy double, there is a gorgeous orange flower print headboard, we have gone bright in this room as it is a small space so we wanted it to be bright but cosy too. There is a wooden open hanging unit to hang clothes, also there are two drawers in the bed base if more storage is required.The lounge is a bright room with it's beautiful ornate coving , and blue Farrow and Ball walls to make the furniture and art stand out. The paintings have been shipped over from South Africa so that it has a bit of a SA feel too.There is a downstairs bathroom with a bath, mirror with light sensor switch to the sideFully equipped kitchen, Nespresso coffee machine,Japanese kitchen knives, very sharp so please be careful! .Kitchen leads onto a beautiful sunny terrace garden with a gas webber BBQ.Parking is available via 2 car parks within easy walking distance to the apartment. We provide a complimentary 24-hour New Forest District parking clock which allows free parking at most New Forest District car parks ( details on back of clock).Guest access:Our front door is on the High Street, we share this with Caldwells, straight ahead of you is another Georgian glazed door, that is to the apartment. You will be given keys for both doors, as the front one stays open during office hours then locked at night.Other things to note:You have everything on the doorstep, so it makes for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 10:30 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 3:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About events:No events allowed.
