I recently stayed at the Claremont Hotel in Victoria, London, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I stepped into the elegant lobby, I was struck by the perfect blend of traditional charm and modern amenities. The aircon in our room was vibrating. Heavy noise at night. But since we were very tired, we were forced to sleep. And OMG, in the middle of the night, the aircon was turned off, the power lights and everything turned off. I immediately called the front desk. They said there were too many gadgets plugged. And OMG, nothing was plugged that time. 5mins later in embassy resolved. And on our 7th day, while fixing our things, at 7pm the fire alarmed. hurriedly ran out together with my daughter who was already in her pajama.

Wifi is fast, air-conditioned, well-equipped and new. The only thing is that the room is so thin, the two seats are not enough to open at the same time, and the bed is so short that if it exceeds 1.7m, it will touch the foot

The room was clean and located on the 3rd floor with lift access. The water pressure from the shower can be improved. The lift does make a bit of a noise going up and down and made it wonder if it will break down 😬

The hotel is small overall but exquisite and has a century of history. The Queen's badge is hung at the door, which means that the Queen can be served. This badge is also available in London or the Ritz Hotel. 1. The hotel is not 5 minutes from Victoria Station. The Royal Stable Museum is next door. It is only 10 minutes to Buckingham Palace. After visiting Buckingham Palace, you can walk along St. James Park through 10 Downing Street to Big Ben. These attractions All within walking distance. If you want to shop, choose a hotel in the Mayfair area. In addition, three or more colleagues in London recommend UBER, the subway is really expensive. 2. Upon entering the hotel, the bellman was very active to help carry the luggage, and then a special housekeeper would greet him. After the name was determined, he would take the guests to the cafe for check-in, and the drinks were free. 3. The room is relatively large in London. Aparsel is used for toiletries, aerated bottle of mineral water and hilon is used for a normal bottle. These are all royally certified products. The service of turning the night bed is also very attentive. On the bed is a little sheep, a mascot of the hotel, which can be taken away. There will be water on the bed, slippers on the bed, and pajamas on the wardrobe. There is no small refrigerator in the room. I don't know why. 4. If you book a room with breakfast, you can choose to dine in two places of the hotel, one is the hotel's restaurant, here is 1 Michelin star, here is a la carte system, providing full English meals, but dining here is more slow. In addition, if you choose to dine in the cafe, only bread and drinks are provided here, which is suitable for guests in a hurry. In addition to the hotel is not very convenient for shopping, it can be considered perfect, it is worth the experience.

It was a breeze checking into Comfort Inn and the room honestly looks much better than the pictures! I’m just glad it doesn’t have dingy carpets covering the floor and it was so clean! Also, the inn might be small overall, it has a functioning lift so we didn’t have to lug our luggages up the stairs. Did I mention the superb proximity to Victoria station? There’s also a luggage storage place right opposite the inn, super convenient!

I booked this hotel because it was ranked first in London by trip advisor, but it was no longer ranked first when I checked out. I felt that a high ranking would bring many seemingly considerate little services, such as someone making the bed every night, and sending small things like pillow spray and desserts. But all services are actually charged. In addition to the room rate, a 20-pound service fee is added every night, which was not mentioned when I checked in or on the booking page. The hotel is located opposite Buckingham Palace and very close to Victoria Station, which is very convenient for watching Hamilton, but I feel that the cost performance is average. The hotel is very small, with only one floor. The public area is basically a lounge, and breakfast and other things are all here. The only elevator is also very old, and there is a loud noise when closing the door. Our room is very small, the bed is only 1.5 meters, and we can barely put two suitcases with a luggage rack and footrest. The sink in the bathroom is very small and can't hold toiletries. The faucet hardware should be very old and needs to be twisted many times to turn it off. There is a gap after the curtain is closed and it can't completely block the light. During the stay, a lamp in the room was broken and kept flashing. There was also a fire alarm that woke me up before 8 o'clock in the morning. I can't imagine how TripAdvisor ranks first. There are welcome champagne and small desserts on the first day of check-in. There are also some chocolate candies and ice cream in the lounge every day. There are some simple buffets in the evening, such as cakes and salads, but drinks are charged separately. A bottle of Coke including service charge is about 8 pounds, which is quite a rip-off. If you don't particularly like retro style, I don't recommend it. The new room of the South Bank Hilton Hotel where I stayed before is large, the breakfast is rich and cheap, and it is also very convenient to go anywhere.

Amazing experience!! The staff couldn’t do anymore! They were so helpful and friendly! It was my friends birthday while we were stopping! We arrived to a happy birthday message on the mirror and a little happy birthday chocolate cake and biscuits in our room! It’s the little touches that make all the difference!!! The room was so clean and comfortable!! Definitely had the 5 star experience!! I’m not sure what the lovely doorman’s name is! But he was so nice taking photos for us!! Couldn’t recommend this hotel anymore! Thank you for making our weekend so incredible! ☺️

Great experience staying at this place, easy, smooth and fuss free. The location was excellent, 5 min walk from the train and DLR stations and a short stroll to the vibrant Greenwich with all its attractions. We particularly appreciated the little kitchenette as we cook all our own meals. The bathroom was nice, spacious and warm. We had all we needed for a comfortable stay and would stay here again. Great value compared to what's available in London.

My recent stay at the Bexleyheath Marriott was a delightful experience. The hotel's convenient location, coupled with its modern and comfortable amenities, made it the perfect choice for my trip. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredibly comfortable queen-size bed. After a long day of exploring London, I found myself sinking into the soft, plush mattress and enjoying a restful night's sleep. The bedding was luxurious, and the room was quiet, providing the ideal environment for relaxation. Beyond the comfortable bed, the Marriott exceeded my expectations in many ways. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. The hotel's facilities were well-maintained, and the dining options were excellent. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a more formal dining experience, the Marriott has something to offer. Overall, I highly recommend the Bexleyheath Marriott for anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay in London. The queen-size bed alone is worth the visit!

Lovely and modern inside main reception/restaurant area, but a few teething issues which will hopefully get sorted now up and running again. I was given the key to someone elses room, so walked into a room full of belongings and then the next day my key lost it's programming, so had to go back to reception yet again. Rooms aren't very sound proofed, so there was a few nights where I had people non stop walking through the corridors at gone midnight shouting and singing where likely drunk from the bar. Overall okay stay for the money though, bottles of water and a few biscuits were provided too which was a lovely touch. Bar prices very reasonable too

Terrible hotel. Checked in, got to room only to find someone else in bed. Was told by receptionist that ‘there couldn’t be’!! Stayed two nights. On both nights first two items on menu choice were unavailable. On second night third choice was Nachos. Delivered to table without chilies, sour cream or cheese. So just the tomato sauce then. Apparently the chef couldn’t find the ingredients 🤦. Upon check out charged twice on card. Asked how stay was and told. Ignored. Never stay there again.

Booked this hotel for parents who were visiting London. The hotel room on floor 4 was of a high standard with a view over the Thames. The gym was good and the outside seating of the restaurant enjoyable in the sunny weather. Unfortunately the ferry connecting Canary Wharf to the hotel was not in use but the hotel provided complementary shuttle taxis to the Uber boat pier and free travel on the Uber boat with the Hotel key card.

The following day we asked to have a room change which was no problem but we were put directly over the train station. They do supply ear plugs but boy is it noisy! Very nice stay at the Bankside hotel though not without some difficulties. We had asked for a quiet room but were placed right next to the lift lobby and opposite the water dispenser, and with hard floors throughout the lift lobby and entrance area of the rooms this meant a LOT of noise coming in the room at all hours. In fairness, the front desk tried to find an alternative but it was not what we were looking for so we opted to stay where we were and made the best of it. Aside from this everything else about the stay was great, a really lovely modern hotel with very friendly and fun staff, great breakfast (though not cheap) and good location on the South Bank. We would definitely stay here again (though ask not to be in this room location). Special mention to breakfast staff who helped get extra fruit for our toddler and concierge who gave him Christmas gifts from the tree... lovely touches.

Everything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).

Stayed for 3 nights with my mum in 2 rooms, I requested side by side or same floor rooms when I made the booking 3 months ago, however they put mum on ground floor and me in the basement. My mum’s room was terrible, smelt like damp wet carpet, it was tiny, dark and had no airflow. The bathroom was oddly located outside of the room through another door. My room was opposite a large storage space and next to the breakfast room. The noise from guests in neighbouring rooms, breakfast room in the morning, staff going in and out of store room and the constant sound from underground train every few minutes was quite unbearable. Even though I booked the same room type my room was much larger and better configured than the one my mum got. The place was a maze, the room numbering made no sense and we were forever getting lost. Staff were polite but definitely not service professionals and it was obvious that none of them wanted to be there. The only plus was location location location!!

My wife and I had a stay at Mimis recently, and overall, we enjoyed it and would stay there again. However, I suggest doing some research beforehand, as the rooms are quite tiny. Even though we were aware of this before arriving, we were still a bit surprised by just how small they were. Despite this, it didn't negatively impact our experience or spoil our stay. The room and bathroom was nicely decorated. I only have a few minor observations rather than complaints. Upon check-in, we requested a late check-out, but the person at the reception seemed a bit abrupt, as he did with an older couple in front of us who had questions about their room location in the annex and that they hoped to stay in the main building. The pillows provided were not very supportive, as they deflated to almost nothing. If we had stayed for more than one night and asked for extra pillows, they would have been accommodating. Regarding breakfast, we inquired about the options available and were informed that they offered coffee and pastries. Unfortunately, they couldn't provide hot food, which was a bit disappointing. It would have been nice to have the choice of continental-style breakfast with cold meats and other items; we would have been willing to pay for it as we only wanted somthing light. Despite these very small things, they did not affect our overall enjoyment of the stay. We still had a pleasant time, and we are looking forward to returning to Mimis in the future. Location is great!

Plenty of cafes and eateries nearby. The place was clean and the bed was comfy. It was just fine, nothing more than that. Staff at The Waldorf are incredibly attentive to any / all needs. I asked for a later checkout and plates for food early in the morning after a night out and they accommodated that for us. The hotel is placed in a prime location, just a stones throw from Covent Garden and about 28-30 minutes walk from Regent Street. The hotel is only accessible by key card after hours; to ensure guest safety. Amenities in the room included an iron and board, kettle, drinking glasses and coffee / tea cups. The shower had fixed shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers. The mini bar was fairly priced for central London, but hadn't been cleaned (hence the slightly lower score on cleanliness). The air conditioning dried my throat out throughout the night, but turns off automatically if the window is open, so had to deal with that / just had water next to the bed throughout the night. The downstairs bar had a great atmosphere and boasts a large menu. Great for a late nightcap. Overall the experience was great. Our Queen room cost £179.00 for the night (excluding breakfast). I was offered two forms of upgrades. A larger Queen Room with breakfast included was only an extra £40.00, and a Kings Suite with access to the executive lounge and breakfast was £80.00 extra.
