Royal National Hotel

Perfect hotel for a London getaway. Perfect location (30 minutes walk to Camden, 45 minutes walk to Buckingham Palace, 20 minutes walk to Chinatown) and 10 minutes from the main metro and train lines. I would definitely stay here again without a doubt.

The room was very clean, and there's a free water dispenser downstairs. It's very close to the British Museum and the city center. There's also a Chongqing Chinese restaurant downstairs with good food and reasonable prices. Right outside, there's a bus stop. There's also a car rental and parking lot downstairs, which is very convenient. A supermarket is just one street over, making it easy to buy supplies. Everything else was great, except for the coffee shop downstairs being open late, until midnight, which was a bit noisy.

Just a few minutes' walk from Russell Square station and a short stroll to the British Museum, this hotel boasts an incredibly convenient location for sightseeing in London and easy access from Heathrow Airport. Despite the large number of rooms, both check-in and check-out were smooth and stress-free. The room itself was simple and compact, yet impeccably clean with a comfortable bed. Considering the high hotel prices in central London, I believe this hotel offers excellent value for money given its prime location and convenience.

Honestly, the location is excellent. It's not far from the British Museum and other nearby attractions, and transportation is super convenient. The Route 14 bus terminal is right across from the hotel, and it goes to various attractions with stops along the way. Highly recommended!

The first night was so noisy I couldn't sleep. I had booked a 7-night stay, so I knew I had to ask for a room change. The next day, I explained the situation at the front desk, and they proactively helped me switch to a very quiet room. The room was cleaned daily, and the breakfast was excellent. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning, but you could ask a staff member for a fan. Luckily, the temperature dropped in the following days; otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to sleep. The second downside was that the bed was too small; I was afraid of falling off it even when just turning over.
