Hotels near Shogun Okumiage No Yuwaku in Agatsuma District

We stayed for one night on November 28. Reservation is HP of Kusatsu Hotel. We booked a main building corner room with two meals per night. You can pick up and drop off by car from Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal. Kusatsu Hotel is a beautiful Japanese style inn with a wooden 3-story building built on the high ground of the entrance to the West Kawahara Park. The quaint building is very good atmosphere. The antique furnishings and decorated raw flowers were modest and beautiful. The adjacent Kataoka Tsurutaro Museum of art seems to be operated by Kusatsu Hotel. The corner room on the 3 floor of the main building was a good room with a good view with two corners surrounded by windows. The old wooden frame window feels good. Thanks to the snow that had fallen the day before, we enjoyed the snowy scenery of Kusatsu.The ”Okuba” of the restaurant, which was extended to 2020, is a modern and bright atmosphere while leaving a Japanese taste. The breakfast and evening meals were beautiful, and all the dishes using fresh ingredients were delicious. The public bath (open-air two hot water) is also in a new separate building. It is full of openness and is kept clean. With a large inner bath with a source hanging water and an open-air bath, Kusatsu! It was a very pleasant hot water. One of the hotels I don't want to teach a few of them. I renovated the place where it was the original 々 store and was in the hotel, but I had a good sense and stayed in New York well, but I feel like I remind you of that time. The size is sufficient and the amenities are substantial. The Japanese room I stayed in also has floor heating, so comfortable and so reasonable hotel is the first time. Usually stay in a foreign hotel chain, but it doesn't pull at all. The staff is also very friendly and polite. I would like to come again.

It was 20 minutes before the check-in time, but the attendant in front of the gate greeted me with a smile, took my luggage and guided me to the front desk, and the receptionist also smiled and proceeded immediately. Other staff were comfortable inn to greet you with a smile. I enjoyed a color 々 bath, and the snow view bath from the open air of the muddy hot water was the best. The room is compact and old, but it is satisfied with the hospitality and service of the smile. The rice was also delicious, such as the fried tenkara and the soup cut soup that Itamae made in front of me.

Perhaps the biggest flaw: they don’t have non-smoking rooms. Aged hotel, great location, abismal architecture, ugliest building around the Yubatake, nice service, parking out of the town centre, but with a shuttle taking you back and forth any time of the day. The hotel onsen is ok, but not big enough to deal with peak times. Breakfast is fabulous. A true banquet. And service is so good that they’ll even bring you a nama tamago if you ask them. If you don’t want to pay for a traditional-looking bath house building, you’ll find nothing more convenient than this hotel. And if you have a problem with any ashtray smell of your rooms, they will desodorise it in a process that takes 1 hour. Perhaps not a bad idea to ask them to do this before your expected arrival time.

It is a little difficult to find the way to the hotel, so navigation is essential. If you get off the main road, it's pretty troublesome if an oncoming car comes on a straight road. When you arrive, park your car and check into the lobby alone. The elderly front desk staff responded and carefully explained how to use the facilities. Return to the car and move to the log house where you will stay. The road is wide enough for one car to pass. The log house is two stories and has 5 beds. There is a toilet with a washlet, a separate bath, a mini kitchen with an electromagnetic range, a microwave oven, and a small refrigerator. There is a table for four and a terrace. There was one double outlet in each room. There is a TV and free Wi-Fi. Although it was in the mountains, there were no insects inside the log house, it was clean, and there were pet supplies (dog toilet, rice and water bowl, deodorant spray, roller, plastic bag). It was a comfortable stay. There is no roof in the passage between the parking lot and the log house, so when it rains, there is an umbrella at the entrance of the log house, so you can use it to carry your luggage. You can walk to the main building or drive to the public bath and dining room. A car is good on rainy days. When you leave your pet in the log house and go out to eat, bring a cage and put it in and go out, or leave it in the car. The large public bath is a hot spring with an open-air bath and an indoor bath, so it was spacious and relaxing. Sauna is closed due to Corona. It was a meal plan, but when I was checking in at 5:30 pm and carrying my luggage, it was time to eat. I couldn't do it slowly and I was busy. I wish it was a little more flexible. As for the meal, the roast beef is prepared in advance and the meat is dry and disappointing. The beech meat and vegetable stir-fried on the copper plate was warmed with solid fuel, so it was delicious. Appetizers, sashimi, and boiled dishes were delicious. The ingredients of the soup are dry ingredients and the soup stock is not absorbed, and the taste of the soup stock is not delicious. The contents are good for the price, but I would like the quality of the food to be a little better. Breakfast was a buffet, which was satisfying. There is a coffee machine in the lobby, and all-you-can-drink coffee in the lobby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check out took a while.

The hotel is considered the most cost-effective hotel I have stayed in Japan. The rooms are spacious and distinctive, and breakfast is provided. The location is very close to Yuza Hot Spring, within 5 minutes walk.

The facilities are not too small and expensive.

Kazu Hot Spring is one of the three major medicinal springs in Japan, and the first of the 100 largest hot springs in Japan. But the price of each hot spring hotel in Kazu, the only one is the reasonable price of Yuyuan Hall. The Tangyuan Hall is right next to the soup dumplings. Every day, you must see the soup dumplings for breakfast in the restaurant, but the view of each room is not special, just look at the pedestrian walkway. They have a bathroom in each room and the bathroom is to the big bath under the ground. To be honest, maybe I just went to Matsuyama Hot Spring, there is a slight smell of medicine, but the hot spring water in Caojin has no taste, nor is it a collapse feeling, so I feel like soaking hot water. Because Tangyuan Hall has only breakfast options in booking.com, I couldn't try their dinner, but their breakfast was mainly bean-based and very healthy.

It's been ９ years since I visited here. The good thing about this hotel is that the room was very large, very private, very relaxing, and I had a meaningful time. This time, I didn't eat at the buffet venue because I was in the corona, so I took it back to my room and ate. I think this was good because I was able to eat while watching TV in the room, and I didn't worry about infection. Is the bath flowing directly from the source? I don't know, but I think it was very good. The negative point is that the Wi-Fi in the room is now cut off in the middle of the pass, and even if it is connected, the speed is slow and useless. ９ I visited for the first time in a year, but the previous Vikings were very satisfied with the number of items, but this time there were not many items, and it was very disappointing that it was the same every day. However, the hotel life with a lot of private feeling is the best. I will use it again next time.

We stayed in one of the rooms with a private onsen. It was a large room with two beds on the floor and a dining area. There was also a tiny makeup area/table on the side that I truly appreciated. The in-room onsen was large and comfortable. It had a large window that opens which brings in the refreshing cool air. The Skintheque toiletries were luxurious and perfect. The large shower was also a plus for us. Food was unbelievable. I was able to try new tastes and flavours I won't soon forget. The breakfast chicken with tomato and onion was a surprise. Dinner's abalone was also a revelation. My DH is a tall and large man. We truly appreciated the length of the bed, the size of the shower and onsen. The only problem is that the hotel staff is not very well-versed in English, though they do try their best.
