Having just Arrived home I thought I would put pen to paper and tell you of our Experience. We arrived on A Saturday morning and were greeted at the reception desk and shown to our Room. On opening the door were very surprised to the size of the room , a big lounge leading through to a large bedroom and a sizeable bathroom. Our out look from the living room was of the brand new kids water park play area . Our first visit to the Restaurant was very encouraging the food was plentiful and the quality was very good and hot .This continued throughout our full stay . The restaurant Staff looked after us very well and went above and beyond to accommodate our requirements. The pool area is cleaned daily and was a great place to spend hot days in the Jacuzzi or swimming .Our only Gripe was probably the entertainment which was solely aimed at the Spanish Community on there holidays. The night time entertainment started with kids disco and then a show of some variety .Unfortunately one member of the entertainment team thought this was his show and overtook the show and it seemed that it was all about him and not really the show ..10 or 12 kids songs played one after another with the dance instructions would have kept all the children happy .The same member of staff overtook most shows where he participated .The other entertainment team were great .Even though everything was aimed at the Spanish Community. If your from the UK and want to be entertained, this hotel is probably not the hotel for you .All in all, we had a great time, but the little things we mentioned would have made a five-star review rather than the 4 star we gave .Other things we enjoyed were the nighttime walks down to the beach to shop at the small huts .And visiting the shopping center where we found several bars and restaurants which were very good.

Hotel located in small resort of El Toyo. The vast majority of guests were Spanish so everything was geared towards them. None of the evening entertainment or daytime, poolside entertainment was spoken in English, however, all the staff were always pleasant and helpful. Everything is done in Spanish time, including evening meals which didn't start until 8pm. The meals were what you would expect for an all inclusive but were acceptable. There was never any rush for sunbeds and you are not allowed to reserve them. All the staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. One big tip is too avoid a room above the entertainment area as its very noisy as we found out. Pool was excellent, pool bar the same as was the evening bar. Smoking is not banned around the pool or anywhere outside and their seemed to be a lot of smokers. All in all an enjoyable break.

Just got back from a 5 night stay at Ohtels Cabogata Beautiful hotel. Our room ( 2225 ) was amazing - 2 x double beds, huge room, L-shape wrap around balcony/terrace. Very nice bathroom with twin sinks. Very clean The staff are brilliant and work tirelessly to make sure guests are happy. Ana Belen NEVER stops working - she works so hard and so fast, amazing waitress 👏👏 Joana and Marina from the bar staff are fantastic 👍👍 All of the staff are great but those 3 people stood out a mile for us. ALL INCLUSIVE IS A MUST IF STAYING HERE - don't book anything else as there really isn't anything nearby - maybe 3 or 4 restaurants in the whole area. The food is good, great variety every night and something different for everyone. Pool area and outside bar are big and clean. Did we have a good time? YES Would we go again - Maybe if just for a short break. Not really somewhere for a 2 week family holiday as it soon gets boring due to lack of things to do. Just what we needed as a couple for a short break but a week is probably more than long enough

We were welcomed by Sandra at the reception, and she was very knowledgeable about the place, and around. She upgraded our bedroom which was a great surprise. Our bedroom was on top floor sea/ swimming pool view, it was amazing. We were on half board, with a big breakfast buffet, with fresh cooked eggs, with different bread, pastries, fruit, cereals hams, cheeses. Then the dinner starts at 20h, (Spanish dinner time) but we didn't mind. Everyday, the cooked food were different. Salad bar, different dessert, with amazing restaurant staff. They were all great. Always with a smile and willing to help. The restaurant was always clean, and the buffet always full. The hotel had a big pool and a new splash water park great for the kids. The entertainers Danny, and Javi were amazing. They had the children disco party every night, and our son loved it. The general manager was on the floor, which we feel that he looks after his guests and his staff. Big thank you to all the team. You really made our stay special and memorable. I you are looking for a quiet relaxing stay this is the area for you. Benidorm it is not. The hotel was in a great location. A few shops five minutes walk away. The bus stop is also nearby and very reasonable fares. A very short walk across the road leads to the beach. A lovely walk along the front. The beach is a little stoney but clean and pleasant. The hotel was clean. Plenty of sunbeds (we went off season). The straw parasols had seen better days and offered little shade from the sun. Our room was large with a massive balcony. The hot tub was not working but in it's hey day the hotel was probably quite posh. The furniture was chipped and dated but for the price we paid all inclusive was what we expected. The food was plentiful and what you expect from a 3 star. I heard a few complaints from Brits but they were unfounded in my opinion. The staff spoke mainly Spanish although some had a basic knowledge of English but it is Spain. Luckily I have some basic Spanish and am not afraid to try it out. This is always appreciated so have a go. British are very lazy when it comes to languages we expect everyone to speak our language.

We came for a week on 16th September and I must say we had a great week. Really relaxed. The hotel is lovely and clean and the food was very nice for all inclusive. We never struggled with the staff speaking Spanish, they all understood what we wanted or was asking. The only reason I didnt give a 5 is because I think this place would really benefit from a little shop as the nearest shop is a 10 minute walk away. Also I think either a kettle in the room or even a vending machine for coffee and tea available 24 hrs would be great. Having to wait till breakfast opened at 8am to get a coffee was my only issue as I wake up early. I would return but would bring my own kettle.

I would have given 5 stars but the last day spoiled what was a lovely holiday. We were 14 nights all inclusive, arrived 11.45pm 12th Sept after a 2hour delay so no food, we asked for a late check out on leaving because flight was at 9.20pm, we paid €30, thought we would have a decent lunch to keep us going and we were turned away from the restaurant they said all inc finished at 12 noon, besides the humiliation we were upset the way we were spoken to really spoiled the day, have done all inc with two different hotels in the area with a late check out and lunch was readily available. Spoke to jet2 rep later that day, she spoke to a member of staff and told us it was a misunderstanding, that is not good enough, wanted to go back there in June but this episode has put me off.

OK let's get the bad bits out the way first the hotel is for the Spanish people, all the staff only speak Spanish which is ok for adults but my kids wanted to play the games around the pool but they could not understand what was going on so they missed out, also nighttime entertainment was all in Spanish, bingo was in Spanish, so again the children missed out, I know we are in Spain but it would be nice if at least 1 entertainment member could speak English. The entertainment team would only speak to the Spanish people mainly women and would pull English people's towels off the beds so the Spanish could have them for a backhanded fee off 5 euros ( I told the manager about this he was a really nice bloke and was the first person to speak good English so if you have a problem please ask for the manager. Entertainment team need to change or you will lose all the English clients. Dinner is to late 8pm til 1030pm crazy. There's no bars showing any sports football f1 not 1 or any English beers in this area. OK now for the good part, hotel is clean and nice, kids slides are good but don't run as its slippy. Food is OK apart from breakfast(no English sausage or bacon no fried eggs unless you waited in a cue of 50) Drinks are good. Five minutes to the beach not much around to be honest 2 small shops and 5 restaurants. We used the Indian which was good and the kebab shop which was very fresh and clean. All in all if your OK at speaking Spanish and love there food you will love it but we are a family from England that like to get involved and enjoy the entertainment but we could not understand Spanish so the kid's missed out my holidays are for my children to enjoy so I would not go again sorry just because kids from England need to be catered for.

Just returned from a week with my daughter and her 2 year old son,hotel was lovely and clean staff were great although the language barrier was difficult,but we are in Spain,food was nice restaurant was very traditional,rooms were nice spacious and clean,not a lot outside the hotel 2 small supermarkets restaurants and beach was 5 min walk,I would recommend this hotel to young families, not enough for older children,all entertainment was in Spanish which was fine,but music arounf pool area was around pool was too loud or kept going loud than quiet which was the only negative,when you have a sleeping toddler,evening dining wasn’t till 8 pm and kids mini disco didn’t start till late 10 pm and evening entertainment was even later 11 pm too late for us,but we had a quiet room overlooking golf course,if you want a pool holiday and have toddlers or young children and want a peaceful week then this is the hotel,maybe a little quiet outside hotel for us …
