Would not hesitate to book again, very clean stylish hotel. Beds comfortable, staff no problems at all. Nice and Quiet location, close to everything. Plenty of bars and restaurants beside the hotel, we went to the Heineken experience on the last day which worked perfect for leaving suitcases as we had to pass the hotel to get to train station afterwards.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was ideal for walking to all the museums, restaurants and bars. Tram to the railway station was 3 minutes away too. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We had a small windows which was high up but this didn’t bother us. Once I got home, I realised that I’d left over 300 euros behind in our room. I emailed the hotel through the app that I had booked them through and they could not have been more helpful. They answered all my emails promptly, found the money and then arranged a bank transfer into my account. In this situation the prompt and continued replies to my emails really mattered the most. Both my husband and I had decided to stay at the hotel again but this experience just sealed it even more for us. The only small point I would note is that they have powdered milk in the complementary tea/coffee tray and if, like me, you prefer liquid milk, take some of those small milk sachets you can get from Amazon.

Lovely hotel!. Rooms were big enough as we didn’t spend much time in the room anyway. Pillows are not the best but the room and the hotel is very clean! Glad we were on the 1st floor as the stairs are very steep. I would 100% recommend this hotel. Not sure why the hotel has so many bad reviews because we loved it. Some people are just never happy with anything. Great hotel, great location!

I booked directly for 3 nights and prepaid. It was only later that I read the reviews and got nervous. Upon checkin was told we had a room on the 3rd floor. This place has a staircase like a twisted ladder and no lift. Are you serious? After expressing my concern, I was offered another room on the 2nd floor so decided to look at them both before committing. Frankly neither was a good choice. The 2nd floor room was so tiny as there was no desk or floorspace so there would have been nowhere for our luggage for 2 people. The 3rd floor room was bigger so reluctantly decided to take it. This is not actually a room, but an attic space with one side of the bed so close to the sloping roof that it's not possible to walk upright next to the bed. We moved the bed so had some improvement, but it was still sub-standard. The floor to this tacky room is sloping so it seriously mucked up my equilibrium. The 'window' is a skylight with no curtains or shades so you're awake at sunrise whether you like it or not. Most importantly, there is NO fire escape on the 3rd floor, except down the down twisted ladder-style staircase. How is this even legal? After not being able to sleep all night due to worrying about the fire risk, I asked if there was a 1st floor room coming available on nights 2 & 3 of our stay and there was. Without even looking at it, decided to take it. It was a slight improvement as there is a separate fire escape on the 1st floor (phew!). But that's the only positive. This room was seriously odd with the window so high up the wall it was impossible to see out. Adding to this oddity, the latch for the window was actually on the top of the window, meaning you'd have to get on a 15' ladder to be able to open the window. The ceiling fan in the bathroom rattled and was on permanently requiring us to shut the door at night (and wear ear plugs) just to be able to sleep. But we didn't want to complain again as we were seriously relieved to have a fire escape if required. Oh yes, if you want an iron and ironing board, book it on arrival as it took me 2 days to get one! Every other hotel I've ever stayed in will provide an iron & ironing board when requested and then remove it the next day when the rooms are cleaned. Not the Dream Hotel. If you ask for an iron, it's yours till you check out, however long that may be? This means that no other person can get one whilst its in your possession! Weirdest policy I've ever come across. Saying all the negatives above, the staff are delightful and do their best to help but they're working with a substandard facility.

Over priced small attic room, with slanted roof was down as a deluxe room there was nothing deluxe about it . The bed 2 single mattress and 1 big but thin mattress on top on them that kept moving , and so u keep rolling in to the middle. When u get out of bed it's like been on a ship as the floor is not level . It is basic building with small bedroom , no restaurant or no bar no lift, steep stairs. I would not recommend this hotel, charging ridiculous price for its location

1. No one was there when we arrived (waited for 30) 2. Bed linen, towels, pillows etc all had hair on them. When asked for replacement I got “fresh” sheets with yet more dark hair on them. Receptionist blamed it on the maid! 3. Why have a please make up sign for door if not once were our towels replaced or toilet roll topped up? Once again we had to ask for the above. Good location but I’m afraid that’s about it

This hotel has the worst customer service. If for any reason you need to contact them they will refuse to answer any emails and not answer the phone. Does anyone even work here? Such a shame that they treat paying guests so poorly and charge such a premium Price for such a bang average place. I would recommend spending a little bit more money to know you are going to get great service and a great hotel.
