Hotels Near bağlıca park in Ankara

I was in Ankara for a week on business at the Days Hotel. This is my honest review. Just I add that for some reason this hotel is ‘by Wyndham’ but the one week point collection stay was not added to my Wyndham rewards membership for some reason unknown to me. Most of the men working at the front desk and breakfast area are smokers. They stand in front of the main entrance smoking and when they walk into the lobby it smells like cigarette smoke. I stayed in Room 306 for a week. The first 2 days, the same song was on repeat in the entire general area and restaurant of the hotel. Butterfly by Maria & Whitney. They might need a new ‘hotel dj”. They did change this after I mentioned it to the lady at reception. Gizem at reception is amazing. She was very helpful with arranging transport, check-in and tourist information. At breakfast there is a fresh open buffet with an Automatic Coffee machine, the machine makes nasty instant bitter coffee and since the day I arrived it was not serviced, I asked the man and lady at the breakfast area why there is no hot chocolate and they said the service man doesn’t show up. That coffee machine needs maintenance service but no one seems to care. The servers offer filter coffee but I prefer and expected a Wyndham group hotel to have espresso type coffees. The butter in the buffet corner sits outside in room temperature without any kind of cooling. As stated on the label, the maximum temperature it should be stored at is 4 Celsius. The breakfast room temperature is about 20 Celsius. The breakfast overall is traditional Mediterranean buffet. It is acceptable for this business hotel. Yeter, the cleaning lady was very intelligent and had common sense. She even organized my cosmetics. The bed, towels and sheets are lovely clean and in good condition. The TV does not have screen casting and barely any English channels so if you want to watch Netflix bring your own HDMI cable and laptop. If you get lucky the WiFi in the hotel room might work. The Wi-fi at this hotel is unstable. As you can see in the photos, you enter your ID # and room #. I had to do this 5-6 times while getting cut off every 2-3 hours each day. In the evenings the wifi is very weak, impossible to have international video calls. At night after 12 the internet connection is completely cut off. I had trouble conducting video calls with the USA and Portugal. Yalin at the night shift reception could not help as he said the internet service man is not available so he could not fix the wifi problem. The reception & lobby (work area) has a completely different wifi system. Obviously the internet gateway company is not good. The Days Hotel claims to be a business hotel but I was disappointed with this wifi internet hassle every day and every night. You can not depend on this hotel for Wifi and internet reliability. The best points were the excellent room with the comfortable bed and the prime location.

Good hotel. Very liked staff, almost everyone speaks English. Very understanding and caring team, help solve problems, call a taxi, answer any questions about the city. The room too very liked. Clean bed linen. Every day there was a clining. Give new shampoo and shower gel. Every day give a new bottle of water. I wouldn't say it's right in the center. It took us and my husband a day to find the way out to the right street. Before that we confused in the yards and could not find any cafe. Then it turned out that to go to it for 7 minutes, but you need to know how. As for the old city before it to go minutes 25-30. What didn't like: in the hotel you can order food in the room. It does not match the pictures. On the photo of the Turkish breakfast with sausage and salad, we have just brought two pieces of cheese, two pieces of cucumber, two pieces of tomato 🥲 There is a mini cafe at the hotel. There you can order tea or coffee. So here's the price for them too every day is different. One day Turkish coffee costs 20 lira, another 35, another some more.

From the moment we entered the hotel, friendly and warm-hearted dear friends accompanied us to our room. When we entered the room, it was more comfortable and cleaner than many 5-star hotels, and the jacuzzi in the room was a really excellent activity for you to spend your time better. In general, we liked it. When we come to Ankara again, I will definitely choose this place. I will recommend it to my circle. We thank you for everything .

This hotel is very well situated for the old town of Ankara. The check in process was fast and easy. The hotel look modern and well kept. The Room was good and comfortable, unfortunately the location of the hotel is in a busy main street in the centre of Ankara, so the noise from traffic is very loud even in the high floors, the hotel may have rooms that are more quiet, but ours was not one of those. Breakfast was a decent Turkish breakfast, but a coffee latte was extra charge. The service was good in general. Overall the hotel is a good choice, and if you get a quiet room then, is a excellent choice in the centre of Ankara.

Wonderful hotel, convenient location (there are many cafes and shops nearby), clean, spacious room. I booked accommodation with breakfast, very tasty food. Responsive and friendly staff. I recommend!

Doyurucu .kahvalti boluminde calisan bayan (hemde benim hemserim Azerbaycanli 😊🇦🇿🇹🇷) asiri guleryuzlu. Resepsyonda giris yaparken resepsyon bayan ve bellboy beyefendi cok mehribandilar. Per il mio primo viaggio in Turchia, ho prenotato il soggiorno di 10 giorni/9 notti in questo albergo. Camera con letto matrimoniale usata come singola. All'arrivo, in fase di check-in, mi hanno chiesto la compilazione informativa Covid e di mostrare HES Code ( versione Turca del Green Pass europeo ). Terminate queste formalità, viene consegnata la chiave elettronica e comunicata la password per accedere al Wi-Fi. Per arrivare alla stanza, c'è un ampio ascensore: questo, unitamente ad una rampa di accesso dal piano stradale, rendono questo hotel comodo anche alle persone che hanno difficoltà a deambulare, o alle famiglie con bambini in passeggino. Il cambio della biancheria avviene con cadenza discontinua; a volte quotidianamente, a volte ogni 2 giorni. Quando il cambio avviene, vengono lasciate a disposizione dell'ospite 2 bottiglie di acqua da 33cl, prodotti di toeletta monouso, 2 paia di ciabattine monouso ed il cambio della biancheria da bagno. Nella stanza sono a disposizione cuscini aggiuntivi, mini frigobar (non rumoroso), cassaforte, impianto di condizionamento e riscaldamento, televisione con numerosi canali in turco ed 1 in inglese. Nella camera sono a disposizione molte prese elettriche e USB, pure vicino ai comodini, dove sono state installate anche lampade a muro comode per leggere prima di addormentarsi. L'elettricità funziona solo a tessera magnetica inserita nell'apposito alloggiamento, una volta entrati nella camera. E' permesso fumare sul balcone, e infatti è a disposizione un posacenere; la mia esperienza negativa, a tale proposito, è stata che, essendo io un non fumatore, durante la prima notte ho sentito molto forte il puzzo di nicotina del quale si erano impregnati i tendaggi. Nei giorni successivi ho provveduto ad arieggiare frequentemente la stanza, e la puzza è sparita. Sono applicati doppi tendaggi: uno più leggero e trasparente per il giorno, ed uno più pesante per la notte. Nella stanza da me occupata, il bagno disponeva di doccia, ma era priva di bidet che, come in tutta la Turchia, viene sostituito da un getto di acqua azionabile dal w.c. A disposizione anche un asciugacapelli, potente e non ”sfiatato” come spesso avviene con quelli a muro. Il servizio di prima colazione è compreso a seconda del ”pacchetto” acquistato: personalmente l'avevo incluso, ed i primi giorni sono rimasto piacevolmente colpito dalla qualità dell'offerta; trattandosi di una colazione turca, spaziava dal dolce, al salato, con formaggio, uova, ecc. Successivamente, confrontata alle colazioni che è possibile consumare in locali all'esterno dell'albergo, risulta scarsa: al costo di circa 30 TRY, in locali poco distanti era infatti servita una colazione decisamente migliore per qualità e quantità. Nota positiva: lo staff in Reception, presente 24 ore al giorno, 7 giorni su 7, sempre a disposizione ed efficiente. Gli addetti parlano, ovviamente turco, ed alcuni anche inglese; chi non lo parla fluentemente, si dà però molto da fare per capire e

I highly recommend this small hotel located in the city center. The transportation is convenient. You can walk to the Ankara Museum and Castle in 20 minutes. There are many restaurants on Fridays and it is very lively. I arrived at one o'clock in the morning, and the front desk was waiting for me. They were warm and friendly, could communicate in English, and helped me take my luggage to the room. The room is small, warm and clean, the decoration is simple and comfortable, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and has bathroom supplies. The only hotel I stayed in in Turkey had two free bottles of water in the minibar, and none of the five-star hotels in Istanbul had it. The boss also helped me check train tickets the next day and called a taxi for me after checking out.

The hotel is only a few kilometers away from the airport, very convenient! Hotel facilities are newer and the service is good. In fact, the global standardized facilities and services make us more assured!
