Kaleici Efsali Hotel

Simple small place good for the two nights I stayed. Very good internet and hot water. The room was quite small but it was okay.

Staff were helpful and flexible, balcony room was great if you bring your own breakfast

Stayed here for a week in July 2023, We had the delux terrace room, I wouldn’t say this is actually a hotel, once you get there you have to call the staff who work in another hotel where the staff are based. However if you have any issues, just text the staff and they’ll be there in 3 mins to help. I’d say this is more a guest house with no on site staff. All very nice and clean, they’ve got rid of the sofa from the pics and added a big table in the room and side tables which is a plus, Comes with a big terrace with some sort of desk and 3 chairs, No view but lush big orange and lime tree’s and complete privacy. Comfy bed, big room with wardrobe with 4 hangers as usual. We purchased 12 new hangers and left them there, so enjoy. Rooms get cleaned every few days, fresh towels are in the cubboard in the hallway No fridge in room but a kitchen with a huge fridge where you can leave good or drinks snd an iron which was a nice touch.. I would say this is in the perfect location as we’ve visited Kaleici many times and it’s 3 mins into old town with restaurants and bars, 3 mins to waterfront and 3 mins to the main shopping road, I would say for the price, this place is really nice. It’s not fancy snd could do with a complete overhaul but I’d happily stay here again no questions asked.

The position of the hotel was brilliant within the Hadrians Arch, a quiet situation, yet lots to see, wonderful good shops, and the Vanilla restaurant which is excellent& the sea 10 mins walk away

The hotel is in the heart of old town Kaleici. At the same time it is in a quiet street, so the bars and noisy places are not really near, that's important. I had a nice view to an orange tree! The personnel is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice!

In a great location, I cannot really call this accommodation a "hotel" as there is no reception, actually nobody around, for anything needed, a txt in Whatsapp is the main way to contact the owner. I saw pictures of the breakfast in these reviews but there were no breakfast at all. but that was not a problem as the price was very reasonable. Bed extremely uncomfortable, with possibly a hole under it, which makes sink whoever lies down on it. Bathroom had mould, fan extractor not working; shower has no dedicated space, like in the Indian style bathroom , where the whole floor is flooded. I think it's better to spend a bit more with other better real hotels around the area, unless you are a solo traveller

Very warm and homie location. The owners go above and beyond to make sure their guests needs are well taken care off. Nice outside lounge area to catch some sun and surf the internet. I will be visiting them again.
