Atami Tamanoyu Hotel

This was my first time staying here, but unfortunately I don't think I'll stay there again. Good points: ・The view is great, facing the sea of ​​Atami, and the location is very good. ・The food is relatively plentiful and of good quality. Bad points: ・It can't be helped that the building is old, but the floor of the room was so soft (severely deteriorated) and the step between the toilet and the room was also tilted, so I actually got dizzy, felt sick, and vomited. People who are sensitive should avoid it. ・The bath has the atmosphere of an undersea hot spring, but there are no tropical fish in the tank, and the water is murky and dirty, and you bathe while looking at the tank with no fish. It seems that the selling point is that it is drawn directly from the source, but it didn't feel like a good quality hot spring. There are good points, so I gave it 3 points, but the old facilities can't be helped, and the other things are not good enough to ignore that, so unfortunately I don't think I'll stay there again. I really think they should rebuild it and aim to be a new inn while keeping the hospitality the same.

It may be a bit lenient because it was a cheap tour and the nationwide travel assistance was applied, but I think it was good overall. The exterior of the building and the sashes of the guest rooms seem to have been renovated and are clean. The lobby area is old, but it is kept clean, so I don't think there is anything particularly bad about it. However, when you go up to the guest room floor, there are some disappointing points such as carts around the serving room. The guest rooms are Japanese-style rooms and are quite spacious, so there is nothing to complain about, but the chair and table area at the back is quite worn out. The toilet, fan surface, and bathroom are no good, and the moment you open the door, you are hit by a moldy smell. Looking at the ceiling, there is a ventilation vent, but it does not seem to be connected to a duct, so I think that is where the smell comes from. There is no mechanical exhaust system. The season was good while I was in the room, so I left the window and bathroom door open. The view from the room was wonderful, and although Oshima is on the back side of the mountain, Hatsushima looks beautiful. It faces Atami Port, so you can enjoy the departure and arrival of ships on the Oshima route and Hatsushima route. It's about a 10-minute walk to the Atami Ropeway to Atami Castle, and the dock for the San Remo sightseeing boat is right in front of the hotel. There doesn't seem to be a banquet hall or restaurant, so meals were served in the room both morning and night. When I asked the waitress, she said this is one of the hotel's selling points. The food was luxurious, but the kitchen seemed to have put a lot of effort into the small budget. The main attractions seemed to be the grilled abalone and the Western-style grilled spiny lobster. It was nice to be able to eat in the room at a specified time. The refrigerator in the room was left with drinks in it, and when you take them out, they charge you. I didn't expect to see this type of refrigerator still in operation. There is a convenience store behind the hotel, so I think it's better to get drinks there. There is a hot spring that looks like an undersea hot spring underground, but it is quite worn out. However, it is wonderful that the water from the hot spring gushed out of the bathtub. Also, the sauna was new and clean. The rooftop bath is a jacuzzi, so it is difficult for more than two people to fit in naked, and it is not a hot spring, so I do not recommend it. I think this hotel has very good value for money. It was about 1100 to 1300 yen by taxi from Atami Station. If you don't think about walking, you won't feel stressed in Atami, which has many slopes.

If you want a room with a good view of the sea, Miharu-san, if you want a waitress, I recommend booking directly from a travel site. Your food will be upgraded. This place has a low rating, but it is really recommended if you stay for a long time with in-room meals. You can ask for an air purifier. The front desk is also good! There is an old-fashioned goodness. You'll know once you try it. There is an open-air bath, but it is not a hot spring. There is a hot spring in the ba*****t and a sauna. It's always fun to take a walk in Atami after staying for several nights! If you are aiming for the number one gyoza, it may be difficult if you do not write your name on the reservation table at 11:30. Take a walk to the restaurant in front of the ropeway station to Atami Castle. The fluffy horse mackerel is delicious. Salted fish is also nice as a souvenir. Total Tamanoyu is blessed with a great location, so you can relax. You can see the fireworks well.

The other day, my parents and my sister and her husband (5 adults and 2 children) made a reservation for 2 days and 1 night. Then the kids' dinner and breakfast. There is no futon, and when I checked with the front desk, they said they hadn't heard about children. Fees, including children, have already been paid. The day after I came back, I checked with the travel agency and found that the reservation had been made, but all the staff at the inn agreed that they had paid for the number of people, but they hadn't heard about it. It was too bad.

I stayed here looking for a cheap place on weekdays for hot springs and walking in Atami. The view of the sea and the dock from the room was very nice. Most of the room attendants were foreigners and were polite. [Hot spring] The natural hot spring in the ba*****t is lukewarm, and it seems that people like it because it contains iron. There is one bathtub that is not so big, and a fish tank like a fish tank is displayed, but the glass is cloudy and it is far from the bathtub, so if you expect something like an aquarium, you will be disappointed. To be honest, the observation bath is just a slightly larger domestic jacuzzi (the jacuzzi was not in operation) on the roof of the building, so be careful. [Amenities] There was no minimum necessary makeup remover. There was no Wi-Fi or hair dryer in the private room. [Meal] I think that the selling point is that it is neither good nor bad, and you can eat in the room both in the morning and at night. The sashimi was not good enough for me personally. As far as I can see from past reviews, I feel that the quality of seafood has been degraded even in the same course, so it may be due to the influence of corona. The building and amenities that have stopped time in the Showa era have an atmosphere. I stayed at a cheap time, so I didn't have any particular expectations, but when I looked at the New Year's price, it was over 60,000, so if that price was that price, I'd be shocked for more than a year. If it's a cheap trip, it doesn't seem to be a problem, but it's better not to choose it on a special day.
